Press Release: backs Modash. Total funding over $220,000

Founded by Canadian Expat Avery Schrader and Estonian Native Hendry Sadrak, Modash is a search engine for performance marketers to find influencers that speak to their target audience.

Using simple filters such as target city, age, language or other demographic info; marketers can find influencers who are verified to speak to a specific audience.

Modash’s database currently contains thorough audience data on nearly 100,000,000 influencers from Instagram and Twitch.

Today we’re excitedly announcing that we’ve added a new squad to the Modash investor family; Icebreaker Venture Capital, who joins an army of veteran startuppers and angel investors from earlier this year. Together they have backed Modash with a total just over $220,000.

We have always been selective about investors and this time was not different. Icebreaker’s existing portfolio companies couldn’t say enough about how supportive and driven the fund’s team is. They told stories of pushing through difficult times, support through high-growth and helping founders level up.

Modash’s recent months have been filled with massive learnings and big leaps in product. We have a strong grasp on what B2C brands need to grow fast with influencers and we’re proud to say our customers are creating wildly successful campaigns with Modash. Our user base has taught us tough lessons that have led to faster-than ever growth and set us up to be ready to really focus on hitting bigger and bigger milestones.

With this new capital, we’ll focus on getting our product in the hands of thousands of brands around the world and powering other influencer marketing platforms via our API.

Icebreaker immediately recognized how we stand-out our market and were eager to support our future vision. We’re very proud to be able to call our investors friends and happy to continue the trend of working with people who get important work done and can have a laugh while doing it.
