I may not go to the gym, do yoga, or jog, and I'm not as thin as I once was, but I can climb a mountain with a 50lb child on my back! I think that must count as a certain type of fitness! Also, I am way more active as a mother than I ever was before I had children. I now hike, backpack, xc ski, downhill ski, kayak, and more! None of which I did before having children. Babywearing and Connection I really wish that I had recognized just how much babywearing facilitates connection as a first-time mom.
