When I first got into the waxing industry, I actually started as a receptionist. I spent about a year learning the flow of the business, watching everything behind the scenes before I even went to school to get licensed. Once I started waxing, it definitely was not easy. One of my biggest struggles was learning soft wax and building confidence in my technique. It took a lot of patience, consistency, and trial and error, but I kept showing up. The biggest turning point in my career was deciding to go solo. That decision forced me to trust myself, build my own clientele, and truly grow into the professional I am today. Use a lower developer and a controlled, creamy consistency to keep the product from swelling. ✨You’re overloading the foil: Too much product or too large of a section creates pressure when the bleach expands. Take finer weaves and use just enough saturation to coat the hair evenly without stuffing the foil. ✨Foils aren’t sealed tightly: Loose folds and trapped air give bleach room to expand.
