That was the first time I decided to go properly hiking two days all alone. I left the first cabin around noon and hiked directly to the first pass. There I had the chance to witness the view over the glacier and the cabin I was going to spend the night. After eating lunch on top, I started the way down and had to cross this 210 meters long bridge 70 meters above the ground. Actually, I first wanted to cross the glacier but as it snowed the day before, it was quite dangerous. So, I fight my vertigo and crossed this bridge before starting the way up to the cabin where I ate fondue at 2641 meters (8664 ft) with some other people. Since the beginning, mountains have always been my deepest inspiration when it comes to photography and filmmaking. However, even if I am skiing absolutely every winter and hiking through all the summer, there was still one sport I wished to give a try : mountaineering. Thanks to @mammut_absolute_alpine , this challenging dream came true a couple weeks ago. Taking part of this #mammutchallenge made me super excited. I jumped into a train to Chamonix, which could be called the capital of mountaineering, and went for my first mountaineering experience. The glacier that you can actually see on this shot is called "Glacier du Tour" and was just beside our hut: "Refuge Albert 1er".
