ad| The Wild Atlantic Way neatly turns into Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coastal Route, taking you from one epic road trip straight into another. There’s countless places to stop off along the route, but here’s a few suggestions for photographers: 📍Giant’s Causeway – 40,000 natural basalt columns which almost look hand carved. 📍Downhill Strand – dramatic cliffs and wide open sands. 📍Dunluce Castle – one of the many Game of Thrones filming locations here. 📍Gleno Waterfall – a little detour worth the stop (take in lunch at The Dairy Farm Shop nearby). @discoverni #causewaycoastalroute #CausewayCoastalRoute #DiscoverNI

I’M IN NORTHERN IRELAND! @TourismIreland invited me to the GORGEOUS coastline of Northern Ireland for their #IrelandUnrushed Campaign. OBVIOUSLY I had to beeline to a beach to compare the TREASURES to what I get in Scotland and I couldn’t be more DELIGHTED by these finds! Got plenty more adventures in the diary! The Causeway Coastal Route is a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’, so I’m very keen to explore around and get my clamber on! If you’re keeping up with my stories you’ll know I’ve already encountered Haunted Hotels, Ancient Rock Formations Stunning Vistas and Seabirds! HIGHLY recommend it here. I absolutely ADORE these coasts, it is the perfect place to slow down and explore for longer. Thank you @TourismIreland & @DiscoverNI for enabling this AMAZING adventure. #AD #I

#AD A little midweek escape up North 🫶 We left Dublin and made our way to beautiful Co. Antrim and checked in at @galgormresort the dreamiest spot to switch off for a night, thanks to @discoverNI. Dinner at Gillies, a quiet evening soaking in the hot tub once Myles was asleep. The next morning, after breakfast, I headed to the spa for a treatment while David enjoyed some downtime before we hit the road home feeling completely reset. There’s something really special about Northern Ireland the scenery, the calm, the food and of course the people. The perfect little getaway close to home. 🤍☘️ #MyGiantAdventure #EmbraceAGiantSpirit

More than just a trip, it was an awakening! It wasn’t just playing incredible golf at places like Ardglass, St. Patrick’s Golf Club, and Warrenpoint. It was the feeling of peace in Tollymore Forest, the joy and wonder of exploring trails in Kilbroney Park and the serenity and connection of Murlough Beach. It was about the warmth of every welcome, the breathtaking beauty around every corner and the joy of embracing this corner of the country. This trip was an immersive experience, from the thrill of golfing historic links, the friendly staff in the pro shops, to the wonder of exploring trails and coastal views, the attentive team at the Avoca Hotel to the delicious local fare and lively craic at Quinns Pub (awesome Espresso Martini’s!). The morning fuel from Birch Coffee was top-notch. Ever
You might already know that Northern Ireland looks like this....but, did you also know it looks like this!?🎥 Stunning nature, rugged cliffs, Unesco sites, but also lively cities like Belfast, just a short & direct flight from Amsterdam straight to Belfast’s city center. 🌆 Here you can discover the #Instagrammable Cathedral Quarter, have delicious drinks at iconic pubs & explore the photogenic city center with its Victorian charm & modern energy! The ultimate getaway for autumn, a season that makes this quaint city, with its Botanic Gardens, even more photogenic! However, Belfast can easily be combined with a Northern Ireland visit too by renting a car, making it perfect for a 2-3 day autumn escape, just a 70-min. flight from Amsterdam!✈️ Which of these Northern Ireland spots is on your m

Sometimes I can stare at a location waiting for an idea that never comes. That’s what’s happened on previous trips here to the Giant’s Causeway, but this time it was different- the way the late afternoon sun turned the basalt columns golden, it created something familiar. Suddenly, I was looking at French fries (perfectly seasoned by time). Funny how inspiration can hide in plain sight - waiting for you to stop looking and just see. #ad @discoverni #GiantsCauseway #CausewayCoastalRoute #DiscoverNI #Illusion

Crafts of Northern Ireland! @TourismIreland / @DiscoverNI arranged for me to visit some local workshops! An amazing way to get to know a place, and to really connect with it, is to try a new craft. Not only do you learn a new skill, you make something unique with your own two hands and can take that home with you too. On top of that, a lot of local craftspeople are inspired by their homeland, so in learning the craft you also unlock elements of history, culture, language and nature that simply visiting a landmark won’t do. Northern Ireland has a WEALTH of options for crafts, both modern and traditional. I tried silversmithing with Heather McFadden of @gobbinscrafts, glass crafts with Eleanor-Jane McCartney of @theboathousegalleryni and willow weaving with Louise McLean of Atlantic Crafts (
