An easy flight from DFW to Vail, and we were excited to arrive (for the first time!) at Beaver Creek Resort. Why Beaver Creek? It’s a lower-key, higher-end resort that feels private, calm, and incredibly manageable for families. A gated village, excellent ski school, wide groomed runs, walkable dining, and built-in activities for kids. Luxury without the stuffiness. Ease without sacrificing quality. Travel day itself? Surprisingly smooth — minus the usual morning chaos of hoping we packed everything and making it to the airport on time (we did). The airline initially separated our seats, but a
