Sometimes I feel so guilty about how much time my horses take up. I think @sarahelebert 's reel summed the different strands of guilt up beautifully the other day! But doing this makes me a better Mum and a better human being. It's time to (very slowly) start Juno's solo hacking career 🤔 Now there's no rush on when she gets confident at this, but I'm keen to start putting things in place because it is really hard when you are completely dependent on others to be able to ride your horse. After over six very long months... and for the first time in 2025 I got to ride my horse 🥹🥰😍😭 Henry's done it again and he's BACK 🥳 - well, for rehab anyway. But honestly six months ago I wasn't sure we'd do this again🥹 Check ligament is healed and I have a sound pony!! Had the most wonderful visit home today from hospital 🥰👇 . After Saturday's visit was very overwhelming and a bit of a car crash, I was determined to make my visit today much better, and proove to my health care professionals and family that I can do this 💪🏾 . 🌟 I stuck to my meal plan 🌟Filmed lots of videos and got lots of lovely pictures. 🌟Obviously had to visit my local tack shop @edgemere_ltd 😉 🌟Made some wonderful memories and made the very best of a different and difficult situation. . It was an emotional goodbye, leaving home today, and going back to the psychiatric ward, but I know at the moment it's where I need to be and each time I come home I'm one step closer to coming home permanently! . It doesn't actually look all the bad when you watch it back in 60 seconds but at the time it felt like such a faff to get on 4 times in 20 minutes when getting on with 3 horses when you're alone is a faff at the best of times 😅 it usually takes about 10/15 minutes to hack to the beach from home and there's usually a very convenient farm lane that gets us there with no gates but it was blocked with a machine so I decided to take a detour through the fields.. not knowing at the time that both gates would be shut... aaaanyway, my phone didn't break, and my horses are little patient angel ledgends for putting up with me so we'll take those wins & I'd like to add that @equi_light pockets come with a very han

The minute that 'anxiety curve starts to rise i shut down and run away from that fear. . Since having anorexia, my relationship with exercise has always been something I have 'had to do' rather than 'want to do'. And has definitely been my biggest barrier. .
