Just got back from Iceland, and there is only one thing clear; nature really knows how to throw a curveball. The weather was a beast throughout our shoot. The hardest of the conditions. We managed a few rain-free moments, but mostly, the sky was a solid blanket of gray. Funny enough, there was an epic solar storm with stunning auroras just before we arrived—classic nature.. Working around the glaciers was intense, with volcanic ash and black dust making every step a challenge. But it also highlighted the raw beauty of this incredible place. We’re proud of the footage we got—about 60% of our documentary is in the bag. Unfortunately, we missed a crucial final shot, which means we’ll be heading back soon to Iceland to wrap things up. Achievement unlocked 🔓 Officially secured my first paid partnership deal! I received an email from a brand last week asking if I would be interested in creating some content for them in exchange for a free product and most importantly a cash fee. Absolutely stoked as I already use and love their products so alignment is there. Paid partnerships posts allow brands/companies to gain exposure to your audience whilst also leaning on your content creation. This is different to the UGC route I have also been exploring, where companies pay you to create content for their own use. I’ll be creating and posting a reel to my page showcasing the product.
