The thing was, I had been doing these for a loooong time, but I was consistent, and really focused on compression and shoulder strength again recently. - Bench assisted toe tap to stalder - focus on the shoulder protraction and elevation and reducing foot assist - Box pike up to eccentric stalder - really going SLOW and focusing on control - Stalder press lift to box - working strength out of the bottom with an external cue - stalder press iso holds - unweighting the hips focsing on where you can’t quite control the stalder negative or where you get stuck in the press - box pike up sliders - more shoulder strength - Straddle L sit rock - working the strength at the bottom Not pictured: lots of regular press handstands and point of no return presses If you want to get your press handstand,

POV: you proved your past self wrong who you said you’d never be able to get your stalder press clean because of your body proportions. I decided to give a stalder press a go after not even attempting it for a while and to my surprise, I went up a LOT easier than anticipated. I was able to get the next 2 reps without rocking into it (but the reaction wasn’t as good honestly). I clearly wasn’t anticipating getting up or else I would have faced a different way. Was a little hesitant to use this video due to a little more booty than I typically like to share, but the reaction was too good - plus what someone wears shouldn’t change your opinion of their character. a month ago i got sick of my own bullsh*t & finally started prioritizing the things i say are a priority 💗 one thing about me is that as much as i am willing to call out people's bullsh*t... i'm just as willing to call out my own. i told myself 2026 would be the year i start prioritizing myself again.... & truthfully, i wasn't showing up for myself in some of the ways i needed. the gym & overall fitness being one of those. it's not just about "losing fat" or "losing weight"... it's about taking care of my body so that i can be around for a long time & i want that time to be quality time. so a reminder for my fellow caretakers - even in the midst of the chaos & taking care of everyone & everything around us... we still have to show up for ourselves, our dreams, & our wants & needs 🤍 febru
