Am I a bad mum?! 🫠🤔😂 As a new mama, I felt the pressure to have the perfect nursery done up and ready, bright colours, all the baby decor etc. But then I realised...we don’t need the nursery done straight away. Babies don’t mind if the room isn’t 100% finished AND pre 6 months it’s advised they sleep in your room anyway. The actual answer to this question is no but I swear whenever people ask me I look down and they are wearing the same thing. Sometimes it’s just easier to put them in the matching clothes when I’m choosing their outfits. Most of the time they are in opposite babygrows rolling around at home. I must admit it though, they do look cute in the same thing from time to time ❤️🫶 . A Week of Mum Life Vlogs ~ Day 4 👶🏼💘 As I was filming this series I realised that I ended up filming during a week which was particularly challenging parenting-wise. Lord, IDK how to live in the in between. Idk how to be a mom who sits in the waiting amid what seems like a dark tunnel AND hold onto hope. I am more reliant on you than ever— to soothe, to calm, to lower Josiah’s anger & anxiousness, to bring peace & let his colic subside as I cannot lift another finger. I’m so tired. You’ve seen me cry, hold his hands, and then fall asleep with him a few times. There is no “staying strong” in this. The last 4️⃣ weeks have shown me that I am frail, weak, and crack easily. Selfless giving with zero reciprocity was not and still is not a natural transition for me so I NEED you, Jesus.
