This half term, Vets in Action is back at London Zoo and this time your mission is to help rescue Darwin’s frogs in Tantauco Park 🐸 Ad/invite In this 40-minute experience, young vets carry out health checks, learn how ZSL monitors disease, and help prepare the frogs for transport back to London Zoo. Afterwards, kids head to the Zoo’s vet clinic, where they assist veterinary nurses with a routine health check and CT scan on a sloth. The girls were a bit sad they didn’t get to carry out checks on the sloth like last year’s rhino experience but the CT scan was a really cool touch! AD | We had the pleasure of being invited back onboard the @northpoleexpressnyc it was just as we remembered- absolutely magical! The bus transported us on a wonderfully festive journey through London. The boys got to meet Santa himself aboard, as well as his little helpers who were fantastic! We loved seeing London’s world-famous Christmas lights and really got into the Christmas mood! We enjoyed a yummy hot chocolate and festive cookie while joining in with the Christmas carols and other fun activities as we journeyed to the North Pole! As you can imagine after a day like that the boys are fully wrapped up in the magic of Christmas! This magical bus tour experience lasts approximately 1 hr 10 mins and is great for the whole family. ⛏️ I've had a lot of message about the @minecraftexperienceirl, so I hope this post will be helpful to some of you! 1) Free Parking-You can park at Surrey Quays Shopping Centre free for 3 hours. 2) Closest station = Canada Water 3) Bags bigger than A4 must be kept in the lockers outside (£3 per locker), backpacks are not allowed inside. 4) The experience is around 45 minutes long. You move as a group from room to room so you won't be able to stay longer even if you wanted to. 5) Be prepared for a workout! This experience gets you moving your arms, running around and jumping on things! 6) You do not have to be a Minecraft fan to enjoy it. Honest Review: The Legend of the Titanic at Dock X Ad/invite- Took my 5-year-old on a little solo date to The Legend of the Titanic immersive experience at Dock X. Honestly, thank god I didn’t bring the gremlin. This felt like a one-on-one kind of outing, so it ended up being a really lovely day regardless. It was our first proper try at VR, and without the youngest in tow, we could actually get stuck in. The nearly-six-year-old said she enjoyed it… but if I’m honest, she was pretty happy when it was over 🤣 She did love the 360° immersive room , that definitely held her attention , and the interactive drawing tables and games were a big hit.
