It’s been a good fall here in the Hudson Valley.

It’s been a good fall weekend in the Adirondacks. . With travel options limited, I’ve spent a lot more time exploring my home state of New York this year. It’s easy to take a place for granted when you grow up there, but I’ve been really impressed by some of the hikes and views in the Catskills and here in the Adirondacks. . Pretty spectacular.

I've owned a camera for just over 2 years now, and I feel like I'm finally starting to figure the times I love to shoot. I think what makes photography and videography so addicting is the fact that every time you go to a location and create, the result will always look different; seasonal changes, wind conditions and light, all have effects on your photos. Summer days in Alberta are long, you’re usually up for sunrise at 4:30AM and shooting sunset and blue hour past 11:00PM. Our group arrived at the location a bit early and got a chance to just hangout and enjoy a casual @americanvintageiced together. We listened to music, shared stories of the day and waited for the light to get good. As the sunset started to light up the sky, the cameras came out and we all enjoyed a beautiful colourful

The thrilling moment when standing on top of a summit looking back at where you came from, knowing you did a damn good job. With little daylight left I hiked as fast as I could to Kandelfelsen, the rock formation pictured here that gives one of the best views in the area. Just ten minutes later the cloud came down and took away any remaining light and the visibility dropped to below a meter, it was one of the most surreal and confusing experiences hiking back to the parking lot. #GermanyTourism @travelmindset #partner
