Morobe Feeling 💙💛💚 What started as a quick weekend with my mate, turned into a whole trip after I managed to convince our friends, The Leavai family from Samoa, to leave Port Moresby and go on an adventure in Morobe Province. Three days before the trip, everyone was set to fly - naturally, with @pngair ✈️ I arrived in the Friday morning on official work duty, and in the afternoon the big family got in.   3. My thoughts on #takebackpng . "We must not think as individual Papua New Guineans but as a race of people when making decisions about our future." . This is no easy feat. This means making sacrifices,planning for and making priority a generation of people most of us will never get to meet. . How does one do that? How does one get that laser focus? How does one prioritize like that? . Find yourself FIRST! . As a Papua New Guineans, I believe that desire for a better PNG is intrinsic in almost all of us, if not all. . Problem is; most of us are surviving,not living. . Most of us are more concerned about what we are going to eat for dinner than where PNG will end up in 10 years time. . So spend time learning about yourself. . Spend time understanding yourself. . Spend time learning who you are without the fancy titles, the family obligations, and the peer pressure. . Only then, when we have a critical mass of self actualized people can we have the PNG we want. . I got a blog post coming out detailing the rest of the discussion. Keep your eyes out.
