Day 28/28 of riding my motorcycle every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld We made it. ✅ For the finale, Tracy and I went all-in and rode the entire Pacific Marine Circle Route — including the Brentwood Bay Ferry ⛴️, a whole lot of coastline, and ripping what I honestly think is the best motorcycle road on Vancouver Island… Millstream Lake Road 🌲 And to wrap this whole month up properly, we finished at the @bcaviationmuseum ✈️ That felt like the perfect full-circle ending with Flying Eyes — a brand with roots in aviation — to close out a challenge that was all about showing up, keeping your eyes up, and taking in the adventure even when the weather didn’t cooperate. Day 25 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld Day 25 was a bit of a crazy one. I spent basically the entire day at Kenco Motorcycle Shop getting repairs done to the T7 🔧 It was supposed to be simple spring maintenance… but I stripped an engine mount yesterday, so that became priority real fast. 😅 Good news: we got it fixed, knocked out the rest of the maintenance, and I still managed to sneak out for a little rip on the twisty Sooke roads. On the ride I also wanted to introduce myself to all the new folks who’ve found the page through this challenge. 👋 I’ve owned a few bikes over the years — from an old DT100, to the trusty Royal Enfield Himalayan 411, and even the untrusty Husqvarna Norden 901… Which brings me to the two I’m riding now: Yama

Day 23 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld Today we’re ripping down the Pacific Marine Route to check out what I think is one of the most beautiful — and maybe one of the tallest — waterfalls on Vancouver Island 💦🌲 It’s so good you won’t want to miss it. The ride was a perfect mix: epic twisty pavement, super fun 2-track, and then… the gnarliest, steepest trail down to the falls ever. It’s honestly insane to me that after all these years of riding, there are still places within 45 minutes of my house I’ve never been. But that’s Vancouver Island for you… there are so many roads out here it’s basically a lifetime of exploring. So… let’s go check it out. 😈 Big win today: it was supposed to absolutely hammer rain—maybe the worst of the whole project—but it’s actually nice out. Day 13 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld Day 13… Friday the 13th, actually. 😅 And yeah… maybe I got a little unlucky. I headed up Loss Creek to cut over to Jordan Ridge — one of my favourite loops. Normally you can’t even think about riding it until July because of snow… but this year? Snow doesn’t seem like the problem. The problem is a massive washout on Loss Creek Road. It’s probably rideable… but I’m alone on the T7, and if I get stuck, that’s a whole lot of work (and a whole lot of walking). So I turned around. Unlucky, some would say. After a long winter, my motivation was gone… and so was my mood. Late winter in Port Renfrew can be brutal — it’s one of the rainiest places in North America and it can feel like you haven’t seen the sun in months. When you’re stuck inside that long, it messes with your head. Riding helps me reset: fresh air, focus, and a reason to move. This project was inspired by @critter_moto and the @getlostfindyourselffoundation and the work they do advocating for men’s mental health with @headsupguys . It really hit home. So I made a deal with myself: ride every day in February. Not to be hardcore… just to take care of my head and inspire at least one

Day 6 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld Day 6 started with dropping Crush Caps off at the post office 📦🧢 Then I hit the road with absolutely no clue where I was going… which is usually when the best ideas show up. Today’s mission: climb a mountain and find the slow line. I headed up 5 Mile Main because it climbs fast and—surprise—I hit ~700m with no snow in sight. 👀 That feels like a green light to start planning some bigger rides that cross a few mountain passes… Not tomorrow though. There’s 45mm of rain in the forecast 🌧️ It’s going to suck… but I’m still riding. Kinda what I signed up for. Day 19 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld The sun is out… let’s go ☀️ I had an epic spot with a wide open ocean view I wanted to show you today… Except there was one problem: the logging roads were pure hard-packed ice 🧊😬 I gave it my best shot, but in the end I turned around — because losing the front end out there and eating poop is not on today’s itinerary. Honestly… I really wish I had studs for this. If I do this challenge again next year, I’m 100% having a set on hand. Tomorrow I’ll have to find a route that stays low and stays coastal 🌊 Time to put my thinking cap on. I’ve heard high-level athletes take ice baths to help injuries… so today I’m riding to Lizard Lake for a DIY recovery session. 🧊🏊‍♂️ Will it fix my knee? Day 17 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld The snow decided to stick around ❄️ so I figured I’d see how high I could get in the mountains… Spoiler: not far 😅 Couldn’t even make it to my classic lookout spot on the Elliot Main — snow shut it down. Still a fun ride though… and it’s a good thing, because I had to do it TWICE. My DJI Mic fell off right where I got stuck and turned around 😭 Good news: I found it… and it still works 🎤✅ Also — huge thanks to everyone tuning in and following along with this series. Day 10 of 28 of riding my 🏍️ every day in February in 🇨🇦, presented by @flyingeyesworld A classic start today: in the shed, wrenching on both bikes. 🔧 They’ve taken an absolute beating from this project and it’s only Day 10… still 14 days to go. 😅 The T7 had some damage from the Day 2 crash that I finally got around to fixing. And the Kove 450 Rally? The clutch is starting to slip… so I tossed in some stiffer clutch springs to see if it helps. Spoiler: it doesn’t. 🤦‍♂️ So today’s ride is a Kove shakedown to test it the hard way: climbing up Granite Main. This is the area where the Fairy Lake protests were a few years back, and it’s always rad getting up there — big views, sketchy roads, and a whole lotta exposure. 😈⛰️ Anyone else constantly fixing their bike mid-adventure? 👇 #RideE

Still—worth it. Saw a herd of elk 🦌 and the waterfall was so sick that I’m calling it a net win. Weather finally looks decent for tomorrow… but my knee is really hurting, so we’ll see if I can ride.
