What a wedding 💒 The wedding of my ‘other daughter’ Sophie, aka @volleyvonty Sophie and I worked together at Benefit Cosmetics HQ. Despite the huge age difference - we hit it off immediately and laughed whilst working together EVERY single day. Sophie made the move to Chelmsford from Southampton knowing nobody. I very soon become Sophie’s ‘ Essex Mum’ I love that title as in the 80s when I worked for a newspaper… The Yellow Advertiser, I had a work Mum too and it felt good. The wedding was a day and night of love, fun, laughter, dancing, joy and friendship…. Everything that Sophie encompasses. I had many happy tears in my eyes as Sophie deserves to be the happiest… given events in her life and also 3 of her Bridesmaids started at Benefit when they were 17-20 and I took them under my wing…

Styling a harmonious colour mix of red and yellow for my @goodwood_races outfit ❤️💛 The red hat is the strongest most vibrant colour, so it takes control of the outfit. I started with cream heeled sandals but the look was too top heavy, so I replaced them with red Mary Jane’s to balance out the look. ❤️ Harmonious colours sit next to each other on the artists colour wheel- a gorgeous combination of warm sunny, energetic tones. Always try to stick to similar impactful colours, otherwise the less vibrant will be cancelled out.
