If we lived anywhere else, we would probably homeschool year-round. However, we live in Alaska. Alaska summer is FAST. It goes by fast. You have so much to do. Your absolutely exhausted by the end of it. We simply don’t have time for bookwork or extra reading of any sort during the summer. Instead, from May through the end of August, we enjoy the sun! We have eight more months of dark, cold, wet weather in which to curl up under a giant blanket and read. In all honesty, by this point, we are all so ready for the break that this season brings. 🌈 Ladies and gentlemen... check out this week's toy rotation! This week we decided to put toys on the middle and lower shelves that the baby could also safely access to participate in play with the almost 4-year-old. Now that the baby is grabbing everything, I am grateful for the higher shelf! This combination of baby interest resorted in adding a few more toys to the shelf than we normally would, but it worked because the baby is constantly grabbing them and moving them off! I used my toy rotation formula here with items that fit within 7 categories of toys. This allows for deeper play throughout the week!
