Loved the shape and fit so much that when I saw it came in this polka dot, it was only a matter of time 🤩 I actually went for a size 12, my red one is a 14 and I felt it was generous so opted for a smaller one this time. As I've got older, despite swimming regularly and resistance training, my arms are not what they were. I wanted to wear this @rixo sandrine dress for the "Dress to Impress" night on @marellacruises so I did, even with my soft arms. If I can, you can. I got my packing spot on this time, but forgot to organise an International SIM, so the cruise content is this week. Oh well... We sailed with @marellacruises out of Bridgetown, Barbados. We had stops at Dominica, St Maarten, St Kitts and Nevis, Antigua, Martinique and a full day back on Barbados. The island vibe continues on board with a come as you are feel. So basically you can dress up or down. We spent our days touring, kayaking, catamaran sailing, snorkeling and hiking, so the evenings were a chance to dress up. My daytime wardrobe was bikini, shorts and tees with wet hair mostly. I packed some favourite dresses. Soft, silky, pack to nothing pieces with a selection of heels and bags. Last of the Venice content, and it's all about what I packed. Northern Italy, like the UK, has variable weather in the Autumn. The difference is that it's generally just a bit milder. You can expect chilly mornings, cool evenings, and when it's sunny, hot afternoons! So my advice is to take layers. You don't need anything too dressy unless you're going to dinner at an upmarket restaurant (even then it's not necessary). Bear in mind that you'll be doing a lot of walking, so comfy shoes only. Take a brolly or a light raincoat as you might get the odd shower - or just dive into a café or a gallery. Ad Last night we went out to an Italian restaurant in the pretty little town of Manningtree, about 15 minutes drive from us, and I wore one of these @ginabacconi dresses. 100% Cupro, a beautiful drapey fabric and the prettiest floral patterns. The best day out with my beautiful Insta gals! 🩵 On Saturday I had a wonderful lunch out in Glasgow with Noelle @50andstillfashionable & Sobia @sobia_alittlebitofeverything . It can be months between every meet up but we hardly come up for air! I've made such fabulous connections through this little app and as always the day just flew past too quickly!
