Finding my mom community has been everything in my motherhood journey 🫂💫 When they say moms need other moms they aren’t joking and some awesome connections have come out of being able to build my own village 🤍 Here are some of the ways I’ve connected with other like minded mamas: 1. Community events 👏🤍 I’m so grateful to live in an area with other mom’s who value the importance of community. There are a few groups I love that host monthly events (I’ll make a separate video about them) that I love going to to recharge and connect with other mamas 🤗 2. Peanut 🥜 I joined this app this year and it’s “tinder for finding mom friends”. It makes it easy to find other SAHMs in my area to go on park dates and coffee runs with 🏃‍♂️☕️ It’s such a great app to scroll on, they have a village tab

This Channel 4 report followed a Peanut x 22+1 partnership where we projected #BelieveBlackMothers opposite Parliament, with a link to a Manifesto for Change created by @peanut. Today, the first part of the National Maternity and Neonatal Investigation was published. Leading the investigation is Baroness Amos, who said she was confident that change will happen as a result of her review.
