Pottery Cafe 🎨 💭 We finally got to visit Pottery Cafe and wow did we have a good time. We’re 100% not the most artistic couple (so please do not judge our creations too harshly 😂) but when Pottery Cafe invited us down we couldn’t say no as it’s something we’ve always wanted to do 🖌️ this was a really wholesome, fun activity and we’re already thinking about our next creation 👀 There was SO many options of pottery for us to paint - we were really spoilt for choice. We thought we’d go for a plate and bowl to offer us a good size canvas to work with 🤣 neither one of us has a creative outlet so we really enjoyed getting the chance to paint and just have some fun! AD | A much needed girlie evening at the @pottery_cafe last Friday with my sister and cousin and I cannot explain how much we needed this. The perfect way to spend time with friends or loved ones pottery painting, eating cake and laughing our heads off. You don't need to be an expert or overly creative but they do give you a demonstration on how it all works which is very helpful. There's a wide range of pottery to pick from including a number of Emma Bridgewater pieces which we of course went for. We each picked a big mug which we felt was very much needed this time of year and we had some ideas from Pinterest of what we wanted to create. The cafe is perfect to go with your partner, children or friends and they serve lots of delicious cakes and drinks. This is something you should add to

You can choose from a huge selection of pottery pieces, including their exclusive Emma Bridgwater collection. They also have cakes and cookies delivered fresh every day, and a selection of soft and alcoholic drinks. We’re definitely not the most artistic bunch and I couldn’t yap much because it took a lot of concentration, but I think our pieces turned out pretty well in the end! I love that they offer adult only evenings because after a week of teaching, the peace is needed! 😌 There are so many items to choose from to paint and before you begin you get a little demo. After a fabulous few days in @pinecliffs, I’ve cheered myself up with a first outing for my new plate - painted by me! - and a return to my favourite ‘something on toast.’ But before I get to the plate, here’s a few things about the toast… You will need: Roasted chicken, sliced Sundried tomatoes (drained and blotted to remove excess oil) Tablespoon pesto - mine was from @silverpalateuk (much more from them soon!) 🎁 Slice of sourdough - mine was @jasonssourdough olive & basil 🎁 Toast your bread, spread your basil over thickly and then layer your chicken and tomatoes on top.
