Today we’re celebrating the 130th birthday of music legend Lorenz Hart! Hart began writing musical hits with Richard Rodgers in 1919 – and their collaboration lasted until 1943. After their first gigantic hit song “Manhattan” in 1925, the team wrote bop after bop. From their funniest and cleverest songs like “To Keep My Love Alive,” “What Is A Man” and “I Wish I Were In Love Again,” to passionate songs like “My Funny Valentine,” “My Heart Stood Still” and “My Romance,” their work was layered and complex.
