Traackr is a feature-packed influencer marketing tool used by a ton of household names, from Lacoste to L'Oréal to Samsung. But it’s also one of the most expensive solutions on the market – and, frankly, there are plenty of Traackr alternatives that do the same stuff at a fraction of the price. Read on to discover the best of the best…

Why consider Traackr alternatives?

Traackr was established waaaay back in 2008, which is practically prehistoric by influencer marketing standards. As one of the oldest influencer marketing platforms out there, it’s seen by many brands as a safe, trustworthy option.

But it’s far from perfect. I’ve identified a bunch of potential drawbacks to choosing Traackr:

  • Limited influencer database: Despite being one of the best-known influencer marketing solutions, Traackr’s database only features 7+ million influencer profiles across 13 platforms and 50 countries. That’s about 50 times smaller than Modash 🤏
  • No AI search tools: A growing number of platforms (including Modash) have added AI-powered search functionality, such as the ability to find relevant influencers based on natural language queries. Not Traackr, though.
  • Opt-in requirement: Influencers have to opt in to campaigns on Traackr. If they don’t, you won’t be able to brief them, track their content, or pay them. Sure, opting in isn’t a massive commitment, but it means your influencer partners have yet another platform to deal with.
  • Enterprise-grade pricing: Realistically, if you’re not at enterprise level, you’ll struggle to justify Traackr’s pricing. Plans start at $32,500 per year – plus a further $8,000 per year if you want to bolt on the platform’s industry benchmarking tools 💸
  • Software performance: Traackr generally reviews well, but G2 users regularly complain about slow loading speeds and technical issues. These problems would be easier to accept in a basic, low-cost tool – but remember, Traackr costs $32,500+ per year!
  • Lack of self-serve functionality: Traackr only offers free trials on a case-by-case basis, so you’ll have to reach out to see if you’re eligible. Again, not a major problem, but it makes the path to purchase a little less smooth.

If you’re concerned about any of the above, it’s time to check out the best Traackr alternatives…

1. Modash

🥇 Best for: End-to-end influencer marketing for Shopify stores

🤔 What is it: Modash is an end-to-end influencer marketing platform for Shopify stores. Use Modash to find influencers, build automated influencer outreach sequences, track influencer content, monitor results, and handle payments. Integrate Modash with Shopify to streamline repetitive tasks like influencer product orders and affiliate link creation.

🤼‍♂️ Modash vs Traackr:

  • Influencer database: Traackr only has around seven million influencers in its database, whereas Modash features every public Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube profile with 1K+ followers – that’s more than 350 million influencers!

  • AI search functionality: Modash’s AI influencer search feature lets you find brand-fit influencers based on what’s inside the content (images and videos), not just what the caption says. With Traackr, you’re limited to searching with keywords and filters.

  • Automatic content tracking (with no opt-ins): Modash auto-collects influencer content (even Stories), even if your influencer partners haven’t opted in to our platform. Whereas Traackr only gathers content after influencers opt in.

  • Scalable pricing: With our end-to-end functionality and plans starting from $199 per month, Modash works for businesses of all sizes. Whereas Traackr’s pricing is prohibitive for smaller brands.

💵 Price: Modash offers a 14-day free trial. Paid plans start at $199/month (paid annually) or $299/month (paid monthly). 👉 Modash Plans and Pricing

🤝 Used by: Birkenstock, Bonprix, Victoria’s Secret, Mont Blanc, Sennheiser

✨ Review score: ★ 4.9/5 (Capterra), ★ 5/5 (Shopify App Store), ★ 4.9/5 (G2)

📣 Testimonial: “Before, our influencer marketing work was split across too many tools. Excel, Notion, a separate affiliate platform, lots of manual emails for product orders and outreach... Now, all of that lives in one platform. Honestly, it's such a relief to have everything in one place.” – Regina Kacajeva, Creator Partnerships Manager at Wigiwama

2. CreatorIQ

🥇 Best for: AI-driven influencer recruitment for global brands

🤔 What is it: CreatorIQ is an end-to-end influencer marketing platform, so you can use it to find influencers, brief them, track their content, and pay them for their efforts. It also has a neat AI-powered search tool for finding brand-fit influencers.

🤼‍♂️ CreatorIQ vs Traackr:

  • Influencer database: I wouldn’t recommend either platform based solely on the size of their databases, but CreatorIQ has the edge here, with ~20 million influencer profiles (compared to 7+ million with Traackr).
  • AI influencer search: Like Modash, CreatorIQ’s AI search tool lets you find influencers using natural language queries (like “beauty creators from LA with US audiences”). Traackr doesn’t do this.
  • Integrations: CreatorIQ integrates with way more third-party tools than Traackr, including affiliate networks, ecommerce solutions, and analytics platforms. Traackr only really does email tools and Shopify.

💵 Price: CreatorIQ doesn’t publish pricing information or offer a free trial. However, Capterra quotes a price of $36,000 per year for their Basic plan.

🤝 Used by: CVS, Nestle, Unilever

✨ Review score: ★ 4.7/5 (Cuspera), ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.4/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “CreatorIQ is the only way we can accelerate leveraging the power of creators in a manner which is safe, sound, and that we can track properly.” – Aude Gandon, CMO at Nestle

3. BuzzSumo

🥇 Best for: Finding influential journalists in your niche

🤔 What is it: BuzzSumo isn’t really an influencer marketing platform at all. Instead, it does media monitoring. However, you can use it to find high-performing influencers in your niche – and it’s also a superb source for content inspiration. So it’s well worth considering as a Traackr alternative.

🤼‍♂️ BuzzSumo vs Traackr:

  • Influential author search: BuzzSumo has a database of 500,000+ journalists, allowing you to track down leading writers in your industry. Traackr doesn’t specifically do this, although there’s a good chance some of the 7+ million influencers in its database are also journalists.
  • Search functionality: Unlike most influencer marketing platforms, BuzzSumo doesn’t let you narrow down your influencer search using filters. Rather, it shows you the top accounts who share content in your chosen niche. It’s an interesting approach – but if you’re looking for a conventional search tool, Traackr is the obvious choice.
  • End-to-end features: Because BuzzSumo isn’t a dedicated influencer marketing tool, it doesn’t offer a lot of key functionality – such as influencer payments or campaign tracking or affiliate link creation – whereas Traackr covers all those essentials.

💵 Price: BuzzSumo offers a seven-day free trial. Paid plans range from $199 – $999 per month.

🤝 Used by: BuzzFeed, Expedia, HubSpot

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (Capterra), ★ 4.5/5 (G2), ★ 9.1/10 (TrustRadius)

📣 Testimonial: “I can search for terms/phrases and quickly identify content that’s performing well in a niche or with an audience.” – Rand Fishkin, Founder & CEO of SparkToro

4. Meltwater

🥇 Best for: Influencer marketing with built-in social media management

🤔 What is it: Much of Meltwater’s influencer marketing functionality comes from Klear, the popular tool it acquired back in 2021. Beyond this, the platform also covers social listening, social media management, consumer intelligence, and more.

🤼‍♂️ Meltwater vs Traackr:

  • Influencer database: While neither platform excels here, Meltwater is the clear winner, with a database of 30+ million influencer profiles. That’s over four times more than Traackr.
  • Additional functionality: Both platforms do more than “just” influencer marketing. Traackr offers built-in benchmarking and competitive intelligence tools, whereas Meltwater does social media management, media relations, and more.
  • Gen AI tools: Meltwater uses generative AI to help users find brand-fit influencers. Traackr doesn’t do this, so you’ll have to do all the leg work yourself.

💵 Price: Meltwater doesn’t offer a free trial and doesn’t share any pricing information.

🤝 Used by: Adidas, Estée Lauder, KAYAK

✨ Review score: ★ 4/5 (G2), ★ 7.2/10 (TrustRadius), ★ 4/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Having the qualitative data to reinforce the value of communications, and the value of our strategy, with trackable data monthly has been really helpful.” – Rob Miller, Senior Manager of Global External Communications at BIC

5. GRIN

🥇 Best for: Generalist influencer and affiliate marketing

🤔 What is it: GRIN aims to do influencer marketing for every brand, regardless of size, niche, or maturity. As an end-to-end tool, it handles everything from influencer search to campaign management to payments.

🤼‍♂️ GRIN vs Traackr:

  • Influencer database: GRIN boasts one of the larger databases, with 190+ million influencer profiles. That’s a whole lot more than Traackr, which only has around seven million.
  • Integrations: GRIN has a diverse range of integrations, including cloud storage tools, collaboration apps, and five different ecommerce-related platforms. Traackr is a little more limited here, although it has a solid Shopify integration.
  • Influencer payments: With Traackr, you can pay influencers in 215+ countries and currencies. GRIN handles influencer payments too, but forces you to use PayPal, which could lead to extra fees for your influencer partners.

💵 Price: While GRIN doesn’t share pricing information, Capterra quotes a starting price of $999+/month. It doesn’t offer a free trial, either.

🤝 Used by: ColourPop, Skims, Vera Bradley

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (G2), ★ 4.7/5 (Capterra), ★ 6.2/10 (TrustPilot)

📣 Testimonial: “GRIN has allowed me to automate processes, saving me time, money, and allowing me to scale my influencer programs.” – Lydia Lee, Affiliates and Ambassadors at Nutpods

6. Upfluence

🥇 Best for: Integrating with lots of third-party tools

🤔 What is it: Upfluence offers (probably) the widest range of integrations of any influencer marketing platform, covering ecommerce, email, CRM, payments, affiliate marketing, and even social media management. So if you’ve got an extensive tech stack and need your influencer solution to fit right in, Upfluence could be a smart choice.

🤼‍♂️ Upfluence vs Traackr:

  • Range of integrations: Upfluence integrates with pretty much everything, including ecommerce platforms like Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Traackr has far fewer integrations (although it does integrate with Shopify).
  • Creator marketplace: As well as its (small) influencer database, Upfluence has an opt-in creator marketplace of 12+ million influencers who are actively looking for collaborations. This isn’t necessarily a good thing – opted-in influencers typically work with a ton of other brands, which makes their messaging feel less authentic – but it can be an effective way to streamline the recruitment process. Traackr doesn’t have a creator marketplace.
  • Competitive intelligence tools: Traackr allows customers to benchmark competitors, discover their top influencer partners, and analyze their content. Upfluence doesn’t do this.

💵 Price: Upfluence offers a free influencer analytics Chrome extension, but no free trial, and it doesn’t share pricing information.

🤝 Used by: Benefit, HelloFresh, Revolut

✨ Review score: ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.2/5 (Trustpilot), ★ 4.3/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Upfluence has created ease in tracking sales, organizing, and managing our influencers.” – Megan Cody, Director of Brand Marketing & Creative, Branded

7. HypeAuditor

🥇 Best for: Finding influencers on lesser-used platforms

🤔 What is it: HypeAuditor is another end-to-end influencer marketing platform covering recruitment, relationship management, performance tracking, and more. It’s one of the few tools to support influencer search on Twitch and X/Twitter – so if those platforms are a key part of your influencer strategy, HypeAuditor might be the platform for you.

🤼‍♂️ HypeAuditor vs Traackr:

  • Influencer database: HypeAuditor blows Traackr out of the water here, with a database comprising 207.4+ million influencer profiles. That’s about 200 million more than Traackr.
  • Content tracking: It might sound like a niche point, but Traackr automatically collects all types of live influencer content, including Stories. HypeAuditor can’t capture Stories, forcing users to do it manually – which is a major time sink.
  • Streamlined product gifting: With Traackr’s Shopify integration, you simply connect your store and let influencers choose their favorite product. Whereas HypeAuditor’s Shopify integration doesn’t offer any tools for speeding up the gifting process.

💵 Price: HypeAuditor doesn’t have a free trial and doesn’t share pricing information – although G2 says it’s 30% more expensive than the average mid-market influencer marketing platform.

🤝 Used by: Dior, H&M, Philips

✨ Review score: ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.3/5 (Product Hunt), ★ 4.8/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Using HypeAuditor, we’ve been able to expand our influencer marketing strategy, build relationships with proven influencers, and save time on reporting.” – Flora Macher, Influencer Relations Manager, Moon Magic

8. Awario

🥇 Best for: Brand monitoring and keyword-based influencer search

🤔 What is it: Like BuzzSumo, Awario isn’t a dedicated influencer marketing solution. Instead, it does brand monitoring – but its influencer search functionality makes it a viable Traackr alternative for some businesses.

🤼‍♂️ Awario vs Traackr:

  • Affordable brand monitoring: For just $9 per month, Awario lets you monitor mentions of up to three topics across Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, Reddit, and Vimeo – plus news sites, blogs, forums, and the general web. Traackr does monitoring, too, but prices start at $32,500 a year.
  • Influencer database: Whereas Traackr has a network of 7+ million influencers, Awario doesn’t have an influencer database at all. Instead, you have to rely on included and excluded keywords to identify influencers discussing relevant topics.
  • End-to-end functionality: If you’re looking for anything other than influencer search and brand monitoring, Awario isn’t the tool for you. Traackr does a lot more – including influencer outreach, campaign management, live content tracking, and influencer payments.

💵 Price: Awario offers a seven-day free trial of its Starter plan. Paid plans range from $49 – $399 per month.

🤝 Used by: Content Amplified, Michael Ruiz Consulting, UpJourney

✨ Review score: ★ 4/5 (G2), ★ 4.3/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Awario provides opportunities for crucial product feedback and encourages people who are speaking positively about your product.” – Kyle Lawrence, Co-Owner & Developer at Design & Develop

9. Influencer

🥇 Best for: Hands-off influencer marketing

🤔 What is it: Rather than a SaaS tool, Influencer is a full-fledged influencer marketing agency. They’re a great fit if you’re looking for someone to run your influencer program for you (and you’ve got the budget to pay for a monthly retainer).

🤼‍♂️ Influencer vs Traackr:

  • In-house vs outsourced: If you lack the in-house expertise and/or resources to run your own influencer program, an agency like Influencer could be a good fit. Whereas if you’re just looking for a way to streamline processes like influencer recruitment and relationship management, go with Traackr.
  • Transparency: Traackr is totally transparent because you’re doing everything yourself, so it’s easy to check in on campaign performance or reach out to a specific influencer. With Influencer, there’s an agency-shaped layer between you and your influencer partners – although you can access real-time campaign performance insights via its in-house tech platform, Waves.

💵 Price: Unlisted. And because Influencer is an agency rather than a software platform, there’s no free trial.

🤝 Used by: Amazon, Coca-Cola, Spotify

✨ Review score: ★ 3.3/5 (Google)

📣 Testimonial: “The team were passionate, knowledgeable, and efficient, ensuring that we were able to deliver the best campaign possible.” – ITV

10. Later Influence (FKA Mavrck)

🥇 Best for: Full-funnel influencer marketing with optional managed services

🤔 What is it: Later Influence – or Mavrck, as it used to be known – is a standalone influencer marketing tool owned by social media management platform Later. As well as its end-to-end influencer marketing functionality, Later Influence offers a full-service managed influencer marketing solution.

🤼‍♂️ Later Influence vs Traackr:

  • Managed service: Traackr is purely self-serve, whereas Later Influence also offers an agency-style solution alongside its influencer marketing platform.
  • Integrations: Later only integrates with Shopify and Mavely Links, whereas Traackr integrates with various ecommerce, email, and payment tools.

💵 Price: Later Influence doesn’t offer a free trial and doesn’t publish pricing information 🤷

🤝 Used by: American Girl, GoPro, Pottery Barn

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (G2), ★ 4.6/5 (Capterra), ★ 8.2/10 (TrustRadius)

📣 Testimonial: “Later Influence is a really easy, seamless, and cost-efficient way for us to get not only lots of content but good content.” – Leah Hydzik, Social Media Marketing Manager at American Greetings

11. #paid

🥇 Best for: Marketplace-based influencer recruitment

🤔 What is it: #paid is the only platform in this article to take an exclusively marketplace-based approach to influencer recruitment, meaning every influencer on #paid has opted-in to the platform. So it’s smaller and less diverse – but, on the plus side, #paid knows a lot about those influencers who’ve actively chosen to be there.

🤼‍♂️ #paid vs Traackr:

  • Lifestyle data: With #paid, you can search for influencers based on lifestyle events like a pregnancy announcement or new car purchase. Traackr doesn’t do this, so you’ll have to make do with keyword and filter-based searches.
  • Influencer network: It’s hard to find up-to-date figures regarding the size of #paid’s network, but I’ve seen numbers ranging from 10,000 – 30,000+. By contrast, Traackr features ~7 million vetted influencers.
  • Ecommerce integrations: #paid doesn’t integrate with any ecommerce platforms, whereas Traackr integrates with Shopify.

💵 Price: #paid doesn’t offer a free trial, and you won’t find any pricing information on the #paid website – but both GetApp and TrustRadius state that prices range from $499 – $999 per month. GetApp also lists a $2,499 per month enterprise-level plan.

🤝 Used by: H&M, Johnson & Johnson, Philips

✨ Review score: ★ 4.7/5 (G2), ★ 4.6/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Easy to use and launch multiple campaigns quickly.” – Jackie C, small business marketer
