Perhaps you’re an existing Influencity customer who’s had a bad experience. Or maybe you simply like the look of Influencity but want to know what else is out there. Either way, you’re looking for Influencity alternatives. And you’re in the right place, because I’ve analyzed dozens of apps and tools to bring you this comprehensive roundup…

Why consider Influencity alternatives?

At first glance, Influencity doesn’t have any major flaws. Massive influencer database? Check. End-to-end functionality? Check. Scalable pricing? Check.

However, no influencer marketing platform is perfect, and Influencity is no exception. I identified a few potential issues that might give you pause for thought:

  • Automated content tracking limitations: Influencity can’t automatically track performance data from Instagram Stories and YouTube Shorts, so you’ll have to ask your influencer partners to share it themselves. Which can be pretty time-consuming at scale 🥱
  • Missing integrations: Influencity integrates with fewer third-party tools than competitors like GRIN and Upfluence. For instance, it lacks integrations for BigCommerce and WooCommerce, two of the biggest ecommerce platforms. (It does have a Shopify integration, though.)
  • Labor-intensive influencer search: Whereas tools like Modash have added AI influencer search tools to streamline the search and recruitment process, Influencity makes you do all the work yourself using 20+ search filters. So it’s more of a heavy lift.
  • Activity limits: Influencity imposes pretty strict caps on actions like email sends and influencer search. For instance, on its entry-level plan, you’re restricted to 1,200 outreach emails a month. Sounds like plenty, but if you’re doing recruitment in bulk, you might bump up against the limit (especially when you factor in follow-up emails).

If you’re concerned about any of the above, it’s time to check out the best Influencity alternatives…

1. Modash

🥇 Best for: End-to-end influencer marketing for Shopify stores

🤔 What is it: Modash is an end-to-end influencer marketing platform for Shopify stores. Use Modash to find influencers, build automated influencer outreach sequences, track influencer content, monitor results, and handle payments. Integrate Modash with Shopify to streamline repetitive tasks like influencer product orders and affiliate link creation.

🤼‍♂️ Modash vs Influencity:

  • Affiliate marketing support: Modash features all the tools you need to build, manage, and scale an affiliate program – from searching for new affiliates to creating affiliate links to handling payouts (and more). You can use Influencity to analyze potential affiliates, but it lacks key functionality like affiliate payments and affiliate link creation.

  • AI search functionality: Modash’s AI influencer search feature lets you find brand-fit influencers based on what’s inside the content (images and videos), not just what the caption says. With Influencity, you’re limited to searching with keywords and filters.

  • Automatic content tracking (with no opt-ins): Modash auto-collects and tracks performance data from every piece of content your influencer partners share – even Stories. Influencity does this too, but it can’t track performance data from Stories or YouTube Shorts.

💵 Price: Modash offers a 14-day free trial. Paid plans start at $199/month (paid annually) or $299/month (paid monthly). 👉 Modash Plans and Pricing

🤝 Used by: Birkenstock, Bonprix, Victoria’s Secret, Mont Blanc, Sennheiser

✨ Review score: ★ 4.9/5 (Capterra), ★ 5/5 (Shopify App Store), ★ 4.9/5 (G2)

📣 Testimonial: “Before, our influencer marketing work was split across too many tools. Excel, Notion, a separate affiliate platform, lots of manual emails for product orders and outreach... Now, all of that lives in one platform. Honestly, it's such a relief to have everything in one place.” – Regina Kacajeva, Creator Partnerships Manager at Wigiwama

2. GRIN

🥇 Best for: Generalist influencer and affiliate marketing

🤔 What is it: GRIN aims to do influencer marketing for every brand, regardless of size, niche, or maturity. As an end-to-end tool, it handles everything from influencer search to campaign management to payments.

🤼‍♂️ GRIN vs Influencity:

  • Influencer database: GRIN certainly doesn’t have a small database, with 190+ million influencer profiles, but it can’t compete with Influencity’s network of more than 300 million influencers.
  • Integrations: Few platforms can match GRIN’s variety of integrations. For instance, it integrates with four ecommerce platforms – Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Influencity only has a Shopify integration.
  • Influencer payments: Influencity lets you pay influencers in 143 currencies and 186 countries. GRIN handles influencer payments too, but forces you to do it via PayPal, which could mean extra fees for your influencer partners.

💵 Price: There’s no public pricing information available for GRIN, although Capterra quotes a starting price of $999+/month. It doesn’t offer a free trial.

🤝 Used by: ColourPop, Skims, Vera Bradley

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (G2), ★ 4.7/5 (Capterra), ★ 6.2/10 (TrustPilot)

📣 Testimonial: “GRIN has allowed me to automate processes, saving me time, money, and allowing me to scale my influencer programs.” – Lydia Lee, Affiliates and Ambassadors at Nutpods

3. Traackr

🥇 Best for: Enterprise influencer marketing for B2C ecommerce brands

🤔 What is it: Traackr is an end-to-end influencer marketing platform aimed at enterprise-level ecommerce businesses, especially those in the beauty, personal care, fashion, spirits, and consumer electronics niches.

🤼‍♂️ Traackr vs Influencity:

  • Platform coverage: Influencity “only” covers the three main influencer marketing social platforms – namely Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Whereas Traackr offers influencer search, competitive intelligence, and performance tracking functionality across 13 different platforms.
  • Additional functionality: Both platforms offer a bunch of functionality beyond influencer marketing. However, Influencity has a slight edge here, with additional tools covering social media content planning, social ads management, social listening, and more.

💵 Price: Traackr offers four-week free trials on a case-by-case basis. Paid plans range from $32,500 – $55,000+ per year.

🤝 Used by: Lacoste, L’Oreal, Samsung

✨ Review score: ★ 4.3/5 (G2), ★ 4.6/5 (Capterra), ★ 7.7/10 (TrustRadius)

📣 Testimonial: “Traackr is our partner of choice because their tools give us the capability to take a more strategic approach when developing our influencer programs.” – Erin Kelly, Director of Integrated Communications and Influencer Engagement at Shiseido

4. Aspire

🥇 Best for: Low-touch influencer marketing

🤔 What is it: Aspire supports everything from influencer search to campaign and content management to reporting and analytics. It also has some helpful solutions for brands that lack the expertise and/or in-house resources to run their own influencer programs.

🤼‍♂️ Aspire vs Influencity:

  • Hands-off services: Use Aspire’s creator marketplace to share details about your planned campaign and attract pitches from 1+ million influencers. It’s an easy way to handle influencer recruitment (although it’s not particularly scalable, because you’ll run out of relevant influencers pretty fast). Aspire also offers agency services for brands that want to completely outsource influencer marketing. Influencity doesn’t do either of these.
  • Influencer database: Again, there’s nothing wrong with Aspire’s network of 170+ million influencers, plus the extra 1+ million in its creator marketplace. But Influencity is the clear winner, with 300+ million influencer profiles in its database.
  • Influencer payments: Like GRIN, Aspire forces users to pay influencers via PayPal (plus payments must be in US dollars), which could result in higher fees for you and/or your influencer partners. Influencity’s payment features are far more global, allowing you to pay influencers in 143 currencies and 186 countries.

💵 Price: Aspire doesn’t share pricing information, but Capterra lists a starting price of $2,499 per month. This might not be totally accurate – I’ve heard of Aspire pricing from ~$1,800 – $4,500 per month – but it’s safe to say the platform is out of budget for smaller brands.

🤝 Used by: Dyson, HelloFresh, Walmart

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (Capterra), ★ 4.5/5 (G2)

📣 Testimonial: “We have used many of the influencer platforms that are on the market, and Aspire has suited our needs better than most.” – Anna Barker, Director of Growth Marketing at HexClad

5. Upfluence

🥇 Best for: Integrating with lots of third-party tools

🤔 What is it: Need your chosen influencer marketing platform to fit in seamlessly to your existing tech stack? Upfluence could be the tool for you, with its wide range of integrations covering ecommerce, email, CRM, payments, affiliate marketing, and even social media management.

🤼‍♂️ Upfluence vs Influencity:

  • Range of integrations: Upfluence integrates with pretty much everything, including ecommerce platforms like Adobe Commerce, BigCommerce, Shopify, and WooCommerce. Influencity has far fewer integrations (although it does integrate with Shopify).
  • Influencer recruitment: Upfluence only lets you search from ~9 million verified influencers, so it can’t come close to matching the sheer size of Influencity’s database. Unlike Influencity, it also has a creator marketplace featuring a further 12+ million opted-in influencers – just bear in mind those influencers will likely be working with a ton of other brands, which can make their messaging feel less authentic.
  • Competitive intelligence tools: Influencity allows users to monitor competitors’ mentions, analyze brand sentiment, and measure share of voice. Upfluence doesn’t do any of that stuff.

💵 Price: Upfluence offers a free influencer analytics Chrome extension, but no free trial. And it doesn’t share pricing information.

🤝 Used by: Benefit, HelloFresh, Revolut

✨ Review score: ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.2/5 (Trustpilot), ★ 4.3/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Upfluence has created ease in tracking sales, organizing, and managing our influencers.” – Megan Cody, Director of Brand Marketing & Creative, Branded

6. Meltwater

🥇 Best for: Influencer marketing with built-in social media management

🤔 What is it: Meltwater’s influencer marketing functionality is largely built on the now-defunct tool Klear, which it acquired in 2021. As such, influencer marketing is only a relatively small part of Meltwater’s platform – customers can choose the features they need and discard the rest.

🤼‍♂️ Meltwater vs Influencity:

  • Influencer database: Influencity has about 10 times more influencers in its database than Meltwater (300+ million vs 30+ million), so it’s the clear winner here.
  • Additional functionality: Both platforms do more than “just” influencer marketing. Influencity boasts solid competitive benchmarking tools, but Meltwater does a ton of extra stuff, including social listening, social media management, and consumer intelligence.
  • Gen AI tools: Like Modash, Meltwater has a gen AI tool to help users find brand-fit influencers. Influencity doesn’t offer this functionality, so you’ll have to rely on filters to narrow down your search.

💵 Price: Meltwater doesn’t offer a free trial and doesn’t share any pricing information.

🤝 Used by: Adidas, Estée Lauder, KAYAK

✨ Review score: ★ 4/5 (G2), ★ 7.2/10 (TrustRadius), ★ 4/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Having the qualitative data to reinforce the value of communications, and the value of our strategy, with trackable data monthly has been really helpful.” – Rob Miller, Senior Manager of Global External Communications at BIC

7. Everflow

🥇Best for: Managing an existing affiliate program

🤔What is it: Everflow is a partner marketing platform rather than a dedicated influencer marketing solution. But it’s a viable Influencity alternative if you’re looking to recruit and manage affiliates (and influencer-affiliates).

🤼‍♂️ Meltwater vs Influencity:

  • Influencer recruitment: Everflow doesn’t offer any tools for finding and reaching out to new affiliate and influencer partners, so you’ll need a whole separate platform for this. By contrast, Influencity boasts one of the largest influencer databases on the market, with 300+ million profiles across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Integrations and partner apps: With 40+ integrations and a partner marketplace covering 60+ apps, Everflow works with pretty much everything. Influencity’s range of integrations is way more limited – as far as I can tell, it only integrates with Shopify.
  • Traffic optimization: Everflow offers automated, KPI-based tools to weed out low-quality traffic, such as blocking referrals from low-quality sources. Influencity doesn’t do this.

💵Price: There’s no pricing information on the Everflow website, but their dedicated Shopify app starts at $950 per month. They don’t offer a free trial.

🤝Used by: First American, JG Wentworth, Seeking Alpha

✨Review score: ★ 4.7/5 (G2), ★ 4.9/5 (Capterra), 7.1/10 (TrustRadius)

📣Testimonial: “Everflow makes it incredibly easy to track our costs, as well as partner performance. We’re able to see what offers are working and why, then make key optimizations.” – Andrew Fuji, Director, Digital Sales and Marketing at Legal & General

8. HypeAuditor

🥇 Best for: Finding influencers on lesser-used platforms

🤔 What is it: HypeAuditor is an end-to-end platform covering recruitment, relationship management, performance tracking, and more. It’s one of the few tools to support influencer search on Twitch and X/Twitter – so if those platforms are a key part of your influencer strategy, HypeAuditor might be the platform for you.

🤼‍♂️ HypeAuditor vs Influencity:

  • Influencer database: With 207.4+ million influencers, HypeAuditor’s database puts most platforms to shame – but it’s not even close to matching Influencity’s 300+ million profiles.
  • Content tracking: Both platforms have issues here. HypeAuditor can’t track Instagram Stories, whereas Influencity doesn’t automatically pull in data from Stories or YouTube Shorts.
  • Streamlined product gifting: Influencty’s Shopify integration lets you automate influencer seeding campaigns at scale. HypeAuditor integrates with Shopify too, but it doesn’t offer any tools to speed up influencer product orders.

💵 Price: HypeAuditor doesn’t have a free trial and doesn’t share pricing information – although G2 says it’s 30% more expensive than the average mid-market influencer marketing platform.

🤝 Used by: Dior, H&M, Philips

✨ Review score: ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.3/5 (Product Hunt), ★ 4.8/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “Using HypeAuditor, we’ve been able to expand our influencer marketing strategy, build relationships with proven influencers, and save time on reporting.” – Flora Macher, Influencer Relations Manager, Moon Magic

9. NeoReach

🥇 Best for: Influencer marketing software with optional managed services

🤔 What is it: NeoReach is primarily an influencer marketing agency, but it also sells subscriptions to its proprietary influencer marketing software. If you’ve got a significant budget and are potentially interested in agency support, NeoReach might be the perfect solution.

🤼‍♂️ NeoReach vs Influencity:

  • Managed services: Don’t have the experience or bandwidth to run your own influencer program? NeoReach’s full-serve influencer marketing agency can do it for you. Influencity doesn’t offer any agency services.
  • Market research: Unlike NeoReach, Influencity offers built-in social listening tools for monitoring mentions of your brand and competitors.
  • Influencer database: If scaling your program by recruiting new influencers is a key priority, NeoReach’s platform is a bad fit, with only 2+ million influencer profiles. That’s a fraction of Influencity’s database of 300+ million influencers.

💵 Price: Full information isn’t publicly available, but software plans start at $1,500 per month.

🤝Used by: Airbnb, Honda, Walmart

✨ Review score: ★ 4.5/5 (G2), ★ 4.8/5 (Featured Customers)

📣 Testimonial: “NeoReach takes the guesswork out of influencer marketing, making it easy to connect with the right people and measure success effectively.” – Tulsi R, G2

10. CreatorIQ

🥇 Best for: End-to-end influencer marketing with built-in AI influencer search

🤔 What is it: CreatorIQ is an end-to-end influencer marketing platform, so you can use it to find influencers, brief them, track their content, and pay them for their efforts. It also has a neat AI-powered search tool for finding brand-fit influencers.

🤼‍♂️ CreatorIQ vs Influencity:

  • Influencer database: Once again, Influencity is the clear winner here. Its database of 300+ million influencers puts CreatorIQ’s ~20 million profiles in the shade.
  • AI influencer search: CreatorIQ is another platform that uses gen AI to streamline the process of finding brand-fit influencers, allowing you to search using natural language queries like “beauty creators from LA with US audiences”. Influencity doesn’t do this. Incidentally, CreatorIQ also lets you search by topics, categories, and image labels.
  • Integrations: CreatorIQ integrates with way more third-party tools than Influencity, including affiliate networks, ecommerce solutions, and analytics platforms. Influencity only really does Shopify.

💵 Price: CreatorIQ doesn’t publish pricing information or offer a free trial. However, Capterra quotes a price of $36,000 per year for their Basic plan.

🤝 Used by: CVS, Nestle, Unilever

✨ Review score: ★ 4.7/5 (Cuspera), ★ 4.6/5 (G2), ★ 4.4/5 (Capterra)

📣 Testimonial: “CreatorIQ is the only way we can accelerate leveraging the power of creators in a manner which is safe, sound, and that we can track properly.” – Aude Gandon, CMO at Nestle

So, what’s the best Influencity alternative?

That’s a tough question. After all, the “best” fit for a one-person influencer marketing team might not be the right choice for an enterprise-level influencer program. But I can confidently say that Modash is the best Influencity alternative if you’re an ecommerce brand with a Shopify store.

Here are some of the ways Modash stands out:

  • Market-leading Shopify integration: Use it to create promo codes, track clicks and redemptions, manage affiliate links, and simplify influencer product orders.
  • Huge influencer database: Search 350+ million influencer profiles across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Automated content tracking: Modash automatically captures live influencer content, including Stories, without forcing your influencer partners to sign up for anything.
  • Dedicated influencer marketing inbox: Get at-a-glance access to essential information – like an influencer’s previous collabs and performance metrics – in the same place you write your emails.
