  1. 29/06 My first HYROX MIXED RELAY. 🏃 I joined the gym because I wanted to be fit. I wanted to lose my post partum weight and I wanted to be strong again. It was never in the plans to be part of HYROX to compete / complete against the strongest. Thank you team for even inviting me to join you guys! When @keepfitwithsonia tapped me at the transition area during our relay and I took off, I welled up in tears for a second. Moments of myself bed-ridden in SGH after my road traffic accident Dec 23’ flashed across my mind. From the fear and shock of not being even able to lift my foot on the hospital bed ( while being pregnant ) , to taking my first step only after a 14 day stay ( swipe to the last video , @nurrullll thank you best Physio ) - to being able to RUN for Hyrox, Ive come such a long way 😭😭😭 NO WAY MAN 😭😭😭 The weekly Hyrox Race Day Prep not only preps the body, but most importantly the mind for this fight. Last night was a milestone , but I know I’m going to achieve more in the upcoming battle with @sxintong 🔥 Thank you team mates @keepfitwithsonia @kaisz2512 @samanthajoanhutton @ahsongg and my dearest @revl.training.tampines for all the support leading up to Race Day! 1:22:34 and ranked 21st out of 134 teams was just impressive to me! 🔥

  2. A walk down memory lane on this day , 7 th Dec 2022: 1. Got into a RTA. I was on a motorbike and a car swerved onto us. It sent us flying on PIE. The driver ran. I met the best Physio from SGH who went all out to help me get well - physically and mentally ❤️ Sometimes all it takes is for SOMEONE to believe in you. And @nurrullll believed in me that I can do it. I think I was holding onto her and sobbing on her the day I was discharged. “ Nurul I want to gym again!” 😂 “You will!” - with so much conviction 🥹 2. Broke a few bones and my left leg could not be lifted. I couldn’t walk. The nurses would wash my wounds everyday and I would cry in pain in bed. 3. SURPRISE! I found out I was pregnant from the accident - WITH TWINS, and they survived the crash. I was very emotional. Broke down a lot and had a lot mum guilt for nearly losing them. With all the broken bones, it was a hard pregnancy. Cannot walk, cannot stay active… I was on HL almost half of this pregnancy… 4. The twins arrived. I couldn’t deal with the anxieties and stress. I gained 20 kg and didn’t like how I looked. I really struggled. 5. This was 3 - 4 months postpartum? I was still chubby then. But decided to pick myself up. Core definitely feels weak. Met up with @nurrullll and had my first gym session at her F45. It was great! 6. We decided to enter @revl.training.tampines ‘s lucky draw when they were opening and we won 3 months membership! 🤩 That’s our 1st photo at REVL - their outdoor activation day. Lots of memories! 7. Found a community who believed in me and I started building and training again, from scratch … it was really hard. Lots to juggle - motherhood, work, gym. Energy and time is limited but I try to prioritize myself and dedicate an hour a day to staying fit. 8. 7 th Dec 2024 - it’s US AGAIN! It’s been an intense 2 years. We’re still working out and doing our best. There’s always so much to learn and grow. Progress is not linear, but keep trusting the process. REVL turned ONE today and we’re so happy ❤️ We’ve come so far and will go even further. Happy Birthday @revl.training.tampines ! ❤️.
