My motto: I’ll take one of everything! (Especially when the seed packets are just this pretty) Now the reality is, you’ll need some seed knowledge: Know your hardiness zone Know your first dates Know how many days you have from planting until harvest Know if you can direct sow or if you need to seed start For example, I’m zone 5b. I can’t just stick some celery seed in the ground and expect it to flourish by October. The reality is I need to start celery seeds 10-12 weeks BEFORE my last spring frost date before I can plant outside and then it’s 100-120 days until maturity But arugula I can direct sow 2-4 weeks before my last spring frost and it only takes 20-45 days to mature. How do you decide which crops to grow? I can’t be the only one who has fomo about leaving the pretty packets behin
