The last few weeks have been crazy! Training has obviously been pretty demanding with an IRONMAN on the horizon, and in the middle of that, we packed up our lives in Noosa and made the 27 hour trip to Florida. Travelling is tough on the body and mind, but travelling during a global pandemic adds even more stress. Everything has simmered down now and we have settled in well here, but the whole experience got me thinking about the best ways to stay on track with training and keep my energy levels up even when my routine is thrown out of sync. I put it down to the little self-care habits I do daily. They may seem small, but with consistency they add up to be invaluable for my overall wellbeing.
