  3. This 👆🏼 Hello, I use to be a chronic people pleaser 👋🏼 I use to always put my needs last, and even the needs of my relationship last, in order to please other people around me. However, as I learned throughout my 20s (mostly the hard way 🥴) is that a lot of relationships may come & go, especially after traumatic or life changing events. I needed to shift. I needed to really realize where my priorities really lie & the beauty in front of me. I needed to rebuild a relationship with myself, prioritize the relationship with my partner, and of course prioritize connection with my kids. And honestly, Its been the most peace I have felt in my life. This is the way it should be. And ironically enough, all my other relationships & friendship have fallen into place in a beautiful way. Learning to not let the outside noise be the loudest in your life & learning to let my inner voice & intuition be the loudest is absolute magic.   3. the next time you head to niagara region, check out this route see a provincial park with two waterfalls, a historic mill and waterfall, and a boardwalk all within a ten minute drive of each other: 🌳 stop 1: short hills provincial park, a beautiful non-operating park that features two waterfalls and 7 different trails. parking is free and there are a number of lots to park in; lot c is the closest to terrace falls, which is featured in this video. the falls here are notoriously dry, so it’s best to go in the winter or spring after a heavy rainfall! 🌊 stop 2: decew falls and morningstar mill, a small flour mill that was built in the 1800s with a beautiful cascading waterfall. this can be a quick roadside stop, as the falls are located right by the parking lot, or if you’re looking for a more challenging hike, you can hop on the @brucetrail_btc 🌉 stop 3: mel swart lake gibson conservation park for a sunset boardwalk stroll! while in the area, be sure to check out a few local favourites including @beechwooddoughnuts for the best vegan donuts you’ll ever have! #exploreontario #discoverontario #niagara #niagararegion #niagaratourism #stcatharines #decewfalls

Couldn’t find it. So I moved on. Last weekend, a gentleman named Desmond reached out to me. Turns out I lost it at a WWE event at Rogers Centre on March 1st - and Desmond works there. It was sitting in the lost & found and it was about to be purged because it had been two months. Instead of casually chucking it, he took the extra step and made the time to reach out to me.   2. I don’t love to give people one-size-fits all advice on dog ownership because everyone is different but this is just SO important. The dog you own can be with you for over a decade. You’ll still own the dog when life gets busy, when you’ve had a long day at work, when you’ve got a lot of social events on your plate, when you have kids if you decide to, they don’t magically go away during the hard moments. So when you’re choosing to bring home a dog, don’t think about the life you want to live, but the life you currently live or realistically will be living in the future. Are you able and willing to manage that dog during the hard points in life? I love herding breeds. I love the tenacity, the eagerness to train, the look, the temperament, but I know my lifestyle isn’t suited for it. Could I probably own one and make it work? Yeah probably. Would it drive me up the wall when it won’t stop herding or barking at me when I get home if we didn’t go for an appropriately fulfilling activity, absolutely. So that’s my Thursday two cents. What kind of dog do you wish you could add to the family but know you shouldn’t???
