  2. solidarity protest in Senegal for Palestina 🇵🇸 • May “24 • israhell t3rrorist 📅 A year into the g3nocide of Palestinians, I don’t think we did enough. I did not do enough. I have protested, signed petitions, emailed politicians, I am boycotting, resharing and amplifying Palestinian voices. And at the same time, I know that this is not about the Palestinians. Nor is it about the Congolese, Sudani or Uyghurs. It is about all of us. It is about colonisation, money and power. At the beginning, a lot people commented on the fact that Black people shouldn’t stand up for Palestinians because they are racist. My immediate thought is that even if Palestinians were to be racist, g3nocide is still wrong. 🎯 Since when can’t we pick right from wrong? And most importantly: since when is justice served on merit? How many times do we have to make it clear that respectability politics are a scam? No matter how strongly you abide by the rules, you can ALWAYS be next. 💭 I think that we collectively should start realizing that in order to be truly free, we have to free others. No matter what we think they deserve. We are all connected by the same systems of oppression. Remember that today it may be your neighbor, but you are definitely next. 🤗 🗣️ it’s important to continue to amplify Palestinian voices and share with the world what is happening. You can do so by staying educated and share about what is happening in the world and amplifying local voices. If you can, donate, protest and most importantly pressure your representatives and demand an immediate cease fire. some accounts to follow: baobaboperation @sudan.updates @focuscongo @congofriends @freeuyghurnow
