The longest week of our lives but getting to take our perfect little girl home at the end of it is everything we could have ever dreamed of 🩷 I know your typical influencers create the most aesthetic after birth posts but I’ve just been taking as many photos as I possibly could on literally an hours sleep in 3 days 😂 (no joke I’ve been hallucinating 🤣) I actually did pack some Charlotte tilbury flawless filter for the birth HAHAHA the first contraction said absolutely not girl x I couldn’t have done any of this without @dan_hanbridge by my side and I only slapped his hand away once during labour which I am proud of 😂 our family have been amazing and I’m overwhelmed with the love & positivity from friends and all of you guys. My pregnancy journey hasn’t been an easy one but it’s been my journey and my story and I’m so beyond grateful for our rainbow 🌈 the most magical journey of our lives has only just begun and I’m so excited for all of the memories we’re going to make with our new sidekick. Now I’m off to cry, love you all ❤️ P.S - she weighed 8lbs 7 oz and was 4 days early (her due date was the 18th 🥹) - no sign of a big belly though lol! She’s a lot smaller in person but has the chunkiest cheeks I could die for 😭 Birth story coming soon 🩷

Well apparently so, because people are willing to wait up to 2 hours just to try L’Entrecôte’s famous steak and fries. I mean for £31, you get a salad with bread to start, and then not one but TWO helpings of steak and fries. So in a city where it costs £27.54 just to breathe, one thing is undeniable - it’s cracking value for money. My verdict on the food: - Salad was a nice touch but too mustardy for me - The steak was tender and cooked well - Fries were good but needed a generous dash of salt as they come unsalted - Their famous green sauce was……alllllrrrrrriiiight I waited just a little under an hour to get into L’Entrecôte, but was it worth the wait? This is no ordinary seafood boil 🦞 ad invite Every Thursday till Oct, @crayfish_bob and his team cook up an unlimited crayfish boil down at independent brewery @_gosnells for £54pp. Not so fun fact: we have an invasive population of Signal crayfish in UK waters, causing havoc with our native crayfish and other local wildlife. So this pop-up is Crayfish Bob’s tasty solution to this problem. He’s been hosting these events for over 20 years! The crayfish is boiled with kielbasa sausage, corn-on-the-cob and baby potatoes, in Bob’s crayfish spice mix. For an extra dash of authenticity, there’s even a band called The Crawdaddies playing live zydeco music whilst you feast. You also get a free drink on arrival, which is a chance to taste Gosnell’s unique hazy nectars - a delicious honey-based drink similar to cider. As someone who has spent a bit too much time watching crayfish boil tiktoks, I’m very glad I didn’t have to go all the way to America to try one. I absolutely loved it. Crayfish are very similar to lobster, but much smaller with sweeter meat. That cajun spice mix definitely has a kick to it, so the watermelon for dessert was very welcomed. SW SPAGHETTI CARBONARA 🍝💛 Happy Monday lovelies 🌸 I made this lovely slimming friendly & super easy take on a Carbonara at the weekend & oh my goodness, idk why I don’t have it more often?!! 😍 It’s not traditional but inspired by a carbonara 😅✨ SYN FREE & Carb HEAVEN 🤪 It does look quite a big portion but I promise it’s just the angle! 😅 Could have had a bit more salad tbh but oh well 🤷🏻‍♀️ To make (recipe & ingredients for 1 portion): I boiled 1 portion of spaghetti (free) in a pan of boiling water according to pack instructions and then cut up 3 slices of bacon 🥓 (protein/ free - all visible fat removed) and diced half an onion 🧅 (speed) and I fried this on the hob until cooked! 🔥 Then in jug I mixed 4 tbsps of Quark (free - fat free cream cheese), 2 tbsps of Parmesan 🧀 (HEX A), 1 egg 🥚, salt & pepper 🧂, sprinkle of dried/ fresh parsley! 🌱 Then mix all this together to make the sauce! 🙌🏻 Once the spaghetti is cooked I drained & added in the sauce off the heat so it didn’t curdle! MALTESER ROCKY ROAD HEARTS ❤️ Happy Sunday lovelies 🌸 So I had some malteser bunnies / Easter choc leftover 🐰🐣 so decided to use them to make some rocky road! 😍 Have you got any Easter choc leftover? Make ROCKY ROAD! 🍫 170 𝗖𝗔𝗟𝗦 / 8.5 𝗦𝗬𝗡𝗦 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗳 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁! They are quite sweet & super chunky in my mould so you could even half again into smaller pieces 💁🏻‍♀️ Inspired by @eatuplondon 🥰 You can use any Easter choc or simply use maltesers if you don’t have any! The joy of rocky road is that you can pretty much use anything! 👏🏼It’s so easy to make & I cut up the hearts before eating & to show you the middles 🤩 Method - this made 8 hearts / 16 cut into 2: 💛 Firstly I melted 150g of milk chocolate 🍫 & then filled the bottom of my heart mould 💛 I crushed up some maltesers using a rolling pin & added these into the mould 💛 I let this set in the fridge for 20 mins before then adding the next layer! 💛 Next I added some mini marshmallows 💛 And then melted 150g of white chocolate 🤍 & then filled the top of the heart moulds 💛 Finally I added a white or milk malteser bunny on the top along with some whole maltesers and some more mini marshmallows! 💛 Leave to set in the fridge for over an hour / until they are hard Then you have yourself some malteser rocky road 😍 It’s so nice (I’ve had 2 hah) but going to give the rest out to family & friends! CHOC ORANGE CHEESECAKES 🍊💛 Happy Wednesday lovelies! 🌸 Need to use up some christmas choc? 🍫 I know I do! 😂 Got a lil on plan treat for you 🙌🏻 7.5 - 8 SYNS per cheesecake pot 😍 (the white is 0.5 SYNS more) They are so DREAMY! ✨I am obsessed with @terryschocolateorange 🍊 The best part is they only take 5 mins to make! 🥳 Ingredients/ instructions (for 2): 💛 Crush 2 @lotusbiscoffuk biscuits (4 SYNS) - I tend to do it in a bowl with a rolling pin & divide between the two pots as the base 💁🏻‍♀️ 💛 Then mix 3 tbsps of quark (free) or you could use cream-cheese & 2 tbsps of 0 fat Greek yoghurt (free) in a bowl! Then if you want to make both flavours pictured divide into two separate bowls! 🙌🏻 🤍 For the white chocolate I mixed in 2 tbsps of Options white hot chocolate powder / an 11g sachet (2 SYNS) 🤎 For the milk chocolate I mixed in 2 tbsps of Options Belgium chocolate orange 🍊 / 11g sachet (1.5 SYNS) 💛Once mixed, spoon your mixture(s) into your pots & then they are ready to top! 😜 For the toppings on both I cut up one segment of each chocolate Orange flavour & sprinkled on top & then placed a whole segment on top! (2 SYNS per segment so 4 SYNS on top per cheesecake) & I also added a little grated Orange! 🍊 Then voilá you have yourself a cheesecake pot! 😍 You can do any flavour you like so if you have after eights you could use a mint hot chocolate etc!   2. We are devastated to say that Jess passed away last Friday after an 8 year battle with cancer. Her positive energy was infectious and her family and friends loved her dearly and being around her. Even tackling this horrible disease for over 8 years, people couldn’t believe how positive and strong she was. Most people didn’t even know Jess was carrying this around with her, as she always skipped, smiled and powered through life. We are heart broken and she will be remembered forever. The Schafler Ridge - Switzerland 🇨🇭 This is what I did: First cable car up at 7.30am from Wasserauen to Ebenalp 24CHF one way or half that with travel card Hike 45 - 60 mins to Schafler hut all up hill! (Get a drink and relax) Hike across the ridge, rails to hold on, big drops but a good path (if you don’t like heights I wouldn’t try it) Aim for the Mesmer hut was 4km ish and will take around 1.5 - 2 hours from Schafler hut Path gets better but still some cables and exposed bit towards the hut Grab lunch or a drink in the hut… 1 - 2 hour hike down to Seealpsee (lake) zigzag, take walking sticks Swim in the lake then hike down back to wasserauen around 45 mins Take plenty of water and food, don’t attempt this in bad weather, wet or windy or foggy, not worth it! You’ll need all your hiking essentials and very sturdy footwear (hiking boots) It’s a truly spectacular day out.   2. Time to look back at the best spontaneous project I’ve ever done. Painting the greenhouse dark blue and stencilling the floor completely transformed it! There is a blog with all the details, the link is in my bio. Stencil was from @dizzy_duck_designs and I used masonry paint matched to Farrow and Ball railings on the floor.   3. A sink in my greenhouse. I’ve wanted one ever since I saw Laura @howsitgrowingnj had put one in hers, last year. I wanted it to be unique and when I saw this pot in my local @frostsgardencentres the vision came to me. I used @makeitrustoleum clear satin sealer to make the pot watertight. Bought the beautiful tap from @allthingsfrenchstore through Etsy. The potting bench is from @gardentradingcompany .
