I was invited by @theyummypalacee to try her amazing desserts from a variety of banana puddings, including a banana pudding nacho which was out of this world and original. @mirandaaaaaj is the owner and her family business includes all types of treats including homemade ice cream and water ice. This is the one. It will rival many of your favorites here in Philly. Please believe me! Next up, I was greeted by @pretttyeatz and she had the sticky, tasty, cooked to perfection wings. She was a bit shy for the camera and totally understandable. Sis was working in the kitchen and not ready for her closeup. But she also makes a variety of Alfredo bowls with all types of protein. Thank you for packing me up. Last but certainly not least, the ladies over at @halalbyiman served up a sample platter just for me. This is not on their menu, but I think they need to reconsider. From cabbage and collard greens, to yams and Mac and cheese, to fried fish, smothered turkey chops, two different types of wings (the little ones, not the bigs), to fried rolls — they had to roll me up out of there. Maybe we can call it the Figi.Rated platter? I’m just saying… Thank you for having me. Wish I could’ve stayed longer just to laugh some more, but I’ll be back. Y’all go out and support these businesses! Yes, it’s cold and there’s a lot taking place in the world AND these businesses need to thrive.
