My dinner time trick as a busy parent of 3? Add eggs! 🥚🍳💛 #Ad No, really. There are so many ways you can add eggs to things already in your fridge to make a quick and nutritious meal that the whole family will love. Like our fave fried spaghetti and eggs, using leftover noodles. Add a fried or jammy egg to a rice bowl. Mix egg in pasta or mac and cheese, add to a savory cheese waffle, stir into fried rice...voila - eggs are the star of the show. Eggs have become my superpower parent hack to keep our family meals nourishing and healthy, and it keeps weeknight dinners quick and easy. #Ad As a doctor and a mom, eggs are a regular at our table: 🥚 Brain-building nutrients Eggs are rich in choline, which supports brain development, memory, and cognition. Just 2 large eggs provide 100% of the daily choline needs for infants and children up to 13 years old. 🥚 Immune support Eggs are an excellent source of selenium, a key nutrient for a healthy immune system and normal growth and development in kids. 🥚 High-quality protein The protein in eggs helps build muscle, supports immune health, and keeps kids full and satisfied—which means better energy and fewer snack battles. 🥚 Introduce eggs early Research shows that introducing whole eggs early can actually help prevent egg allergy. Health Canada and Canadian pediatric guidelines recommend whole eggs starting around 6 months,

#Ad Leftover rice sitting in your fridge? Don’t even think about tossing it. All you need are a couple of eggs and 60 seconds, and boom, you’ve got fried rice that slaps. Here’s the move: Scramble your eggs till they’re soft and fluffy, toss in the rice and veggies, hit it with soy sauce and sesame oil, then finish with a runny egg on top because… put an egg on it, always. It’s fast. It’s flavour-loaded. It’s protein-packed. And the best part? You just learned a kitchen skill you’ll actually use. Japanese Egg Tornado HACK with a fork! 🍳 #ad OMG you guys, I found a hack to the Japanese Egg Tornado! 🌪️ You always see it with chopsticks, but look how easy it is with a fork! Just make sure you read through the instructions clearly and take note of the Pro Tips! 😎 🫰🏼 STEPS 🫰🏼 1. Whisk 2 eggs and a pinch of salt in a bowl 2. Use an 8 inch stainless steel pan like me and put it on med to med-high heat. Add oil and wait until the oil is hot 🔥 3. Pour in your eggs and let the sides cook/settle for 3 seconds before inserting your fork on one edge of the pan. Pull the fork and egg layer to the other side of the pan and SLOWLY twist the fork in a counter-clockwise motion 4. Keep rotating until the egg has cooked and it’s still runny on the top. Immediately turn off the heat! 5. The egg

Poaching eggs #ad can take some practice but I promise once you do it you’ll never look back. I bet you’re wondering why I didn’t mention adding vinegar? It’s true, adding vinegar to the water can help the egg whites firm up and set faster, avoiding lots of wispy strands. My husband loves using vinegar but I just never do - a personal preference I suppose. Other than that my favourite tips to stick to are the following. 1) Use the freshest eggs you have. 2) Pull them out of the fridge just before poaching. 3) Add about 3-inches of water to your pot. 4) Crack them into a small bowl before adding them to the poaching liquid. 5) Bring the water up to just below a simmer. 6) Cook the eggs for 3-5 minutes, depending on how well you like the yolk set! I’m a 4 minute gal. What are your tips for c
