  2. Dagene har været intense og følelsesladet, og alligevel formår vi at holde sammen og trække vejret dybt. I onsdags havde Carl-Emil haft mellemørebetændelse i nogle dage, han var så skidt tilpas. Vi opdagede om aftenen, at han bagved øret var rød og hævet, vi fik fat på 1813. Handlede hurtigt. Det gik stærkt og vi endte på Rigshospitalet onsdag nat. Mellemørebetændelsen havde udviklet sig til forstadiet for en sjælden og alvorlig tilstand, hvor betændelsen kan sprede sig til hjernen. Carl-Emil blev lagt i narkose, så de kunne fjerne pus fra øret og bagved - se om betændelsen havde spredt sig og ligge dræn på ham samtidig. Det at opleve og mærke sit barn være i så store smerter, kæmpe imod blodprøvetagning og ligges i narkose gør umådeligt ondt i hjertet. Så overvældende følelser. Vi lå helt tæt, trak vejret dybt og forsøgte at få systemet i ro - personalet sagde til os: I er powerforældre med den ro i skaber i denne situation. Det vigtigste for os var og vil altid være, at skabe en tryghed og nærhed, som Carl-Emil mærker, særligt i en situation, der var så ubehagelig ❤️‍🩹 Operationen gik godt. Betændelsen havde ikke spredt sig, fordi vi handlede hurtigt. Vi har nu været indlagt på Riget siden og håber på, at kunne komme hjem i dag. Carl-Emil farer rundt på hospitaletsgangen og smilet er stort. Mit hjerte varmes. Men må bare sige, at det fandme har været hårdt med al den sygdom. Igen og igen og igen. Ikke mere fra nu, tak. Nu vil vi hjem og nyde sommeren sammen ♥️

We grow up in a system that teaches there’s only one way to live a safe, stable and happy life. But who decided that? And why do we keep believing it to be true? Society just wants us to follow the rules, fit into the mold, and do what we’re told 🫡 And for most of our lives we believed that to be true, and that it was the only option for not only ourselves but also our future kids. But we stopped believing in that as we grew older and realised there was in fact other ways to live life and raise kids without compromising on safety, stability or happiness. We decided to go our own way, to be rebellious, and not fit into a system that, honestly, is super broken ⛓️‍💥So obviously not a system we want our daughter to grow up in.
