HOWEVER that being said I do understand that it can come from a place of deep-rooted insecurities that have been ingrained in us for generations, through the media, and in everyday interactions, which is one of the many reasons I feel so strongly about seeing a diverse range of body types on this platform and in the media in general! Representation 👏 is 👏 important 👏 let’s instill in people that confidence comes from within, from being smart, from being a kind person and knowing your worth, regardless of your dress size! If life has taught me anything over the last year or so, it’s that it is too damn short and precious to let anything hold you back from doing what you want do. Of course I don’t feel physically beyond improvement (lol) but I know my worth is so much greater than that and THAT is what brings me CONFIDENCE. One practical confidence tip I’d like to share if you are struggling, is to unfollow anyone on social media who makes you feel less worthy. Fill your timeline with people who make you feel strong, empowered and even inspired to make the best of yourself, whatever stage of your journey you’re at.
