My 20s were up& down😔 but I did meet the love of my life which gave me happiness again 👱🏼‍♀️💕👮🏽‍♂️…..My teen years were up&down emotionally but I found a flutter of confidence that got me where I am today⭐️. As a child I lived in a bubble of pure joy playing outside with my friends counting down the sleeps to Santa🎅🏼 life was so simple !! Now on to my 4th era which brings me so much excitment but some sadness when I think of my older brother who didn’t get to exprerince his 40’s 😔 it’s a reminder of how precious life can be, we must cherish every moment. I certainly do…& I’m going to continue being grateful every day for waking up & seeing my kids faces …my one & only wish for my Birthday is health for my family 🎂

Totally abusing my body with food, constantly punishing myself for being unhealthy by being even worse!! It’s a vicious cycle and so many can resonate with that! Yes I hiked mountains the size I was last year, I never gave up, I used to be 76 shades of purple in the face for gasping 🤣 but I never gave up, I am actually proud of that! But perhaps maybe trying to prove something to others, whereas now I’m only trying to prove things to myself! 🤍 This isn’t a post looking for compliments, this is a post to every single person who struggles with their weight/fitness/confidence that you can take control, you can change things for yourself.   2. 🐚🌊𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗷𝗼𝘆👙🥥 I had the most fun on Christmas Day at Brontë Beach with my friends and fellow Irish ❤️☘️ But getting ready for a day on the beach filled me with fear. Why was I nervous? It was because I was so worried about how I would look to others, what others would think of me and how I couldn’t possibly compare to all the other stunning girls there. And they were. Each and every one of those girls were beautiful and rockin’ every size, shape, bikini, swimsuit, sarong ❤️‍🔥 So why did I riddle myself with fear of others’ judgements about my body?! It’s mad how we are all conditioned to fit a narrative of having a perfect “bikini body” and it causes so many missed opportunities. I was conscious of my body but decided to embrace CHRISTMAS ON A BEACH IN SYDNEY, because who knows if I’ll ever get that opportunity again 🫶🏻 We are all born bikini ready girls. We should not compare ourselves to others, or even our past body shapes. We should appreciate every moment for what it is, enjoy having fun with the people around us and stop comparing! It really is the thief of joy. The start of the new year is our opportunity to rid ourselves of these negative thoughts and embrace ourselves in every moment we experience.   2. I ended the year & started the new one in a negative mind frame. All i could see was the bad that the last 12 months brought and i felt yet again it was another year wrote off. I'd planned on putting together a recap but that got pushed aside to make room for my rain cloud lol. Having some time to look back it reminds me there is so much good in my life. Although i am chronically ill and that sucks major daily i will continue to try find that balance between feeling what i do but also being grateful for how lucky i am too. 2021 you were a ride as always but thankfully my carriage is full of love , support & laughs.
