  3. Are you easy runs actually easy? 🏃‍♀️‼️🤫 And that might be the biggest mistake most runners are making. In Episode 2 of this series 🎥, I’m breaking down what elite training actually looks like after spending a week in Lesotho 🇱🇸 with Khoarahlane “Joseph” Seutloali (last year’s Two Oceans Ultra Marathon 56km winner 🏆) and Tsepo Ramashamole (2:12 marathon runner ⏱️) as they prepare for the Two Oceans Ultra Marathon. Watching these guys train completely changed the way I think about running. Because their training is surprisingly simple: • One long run each week 🏔️ • One hard session 🏃‍♂️🔥 • Everything else… very easy miles And when I say easy, I mean easy. I actually joined one of their easy runs and it was so relaxed that even I could comfortably run with them. Which made me realise something important: Most runners are doing something called performative running - running faster than they should just so their pace looks better on Strava 📱 or their watch. But elite runners aren’t trying to impress anyone in training. They’re trying to be ready for race day 🏁. The goal of training isn’t to prove how fit you are today. The goal is to be able to train again tomorrow. 👇 I’m curious: Do you run your easy runs truly easy… or do you push the pace? Next episode: The Gear 👟and why modern running shoes might matter more for recovery than speed. 🙏 Huge thank you to @underarmour @uarunning for making this possible, for supporting these athletes in Lesotho, and for helping bring this series to life. #running #runningcommunity #runninghumor #runninggirl #twooceansmarathon2026 Running | Running Community | Running Girl | Two Oceans Marathon 2026
