Thank you at @PRHAudio and @BerkleyPub for the #gifted audiobook! #PRHAudioPartner 📕 Somebody Worth Killing by Jessica Payne 📕 Pub day: June 16, 2026 This one grabbed me from the start. A darkly funny and very fun spin on a cat and mouse thriller! A suburban mom who is secretly an assassin. But, she has a strict code. She only kills truly evil bad guys. Nadia is a compelling character who will grow on you well before the end of the book. She’s a functional psychopath and contract killer, yet still a loving and involved mom. She is morally gray, sarcastic, and witty. She finds out her handler has “mommy tracked” her and sidelined her career with smaller, less exciting assignments because she has children. So, she requests a big target and finds out careful what you wish for. This was my f

🏒 5/5 ❄️ I somehow accidentally ended up on a sports romance kick - and even like specialized in hockey somehow (early last year). When I read a book, I tend to take notes so that way this part comes easier (writing the review) especially if I’m working through 4 books at once, it helps me keep them straight. Going through those notes currently has me cackling: “Aiden Crawford has me full swooning.” “And that group chat with some of the hockey boys titled Sunny’s Angels. Crying.” “No third act breakup!!!” And if you’re a romance reader like me, you know third act breakups are very prominent in this genre - so the genuine happiness I had - just superb 🤣 This follows Aiden and Summer. He’s captain of the hockey team. She needs a hockey player to study to write her psychology paper to get i

Thank you, @berkleypub for the free copy of the ARC! #berkleypartner 📖 The Open Era by @edwardschmit 📖 This book hit very close to home for me- and I think it all stems from my own journey with anxiety and how much I related to Austin. A lot of the time, people with anxiety get in their own way and I saw myself in Austin’s struggles with managing his relationship with Diego and navigating his career/life in general. Just hit me really hard. Yes, the romance was very sweet and very instalove- which typically isn’t my thing, but also I have to remember that the MCs are MUCH younger than I am! Haha. Overall, fantastic book. I really loved this one solely for how much I related to Austin’s struggles. ❤️ #lgbtqbooks #gaystagram #queerbooks #gaybooks

FEAST 🍇 [ad-pr] ‘Feast is a sumptuous historical novel brimming with intrigue and sensory wonder - a dark fairytale for readers who love Jessie Burton, Elizabeth Macneal and Bridget Collins.’ Feast by Catherine Kurtz is out today! I was lucky enough to receive this book yesterday in the post with a signed printed piece of artwork by Catherine too! Thanks so much to Catherine and @dialoguepublishing @berkleypub I love it! I can’t wait to read the book now and dive into these yummy chocolates too! I feel very spoilt! Here is all about the book: In the soot-streaked alleys of 19th-century London, Minha is a girl unlike any other - born with an extraordinary gift: an overwhelming, all-consuming sense of taste. Desperate to escape a life of poverty, she crosses the sea to France, chasing the s

🦁 Book Review 🦁 • Thank you again to @berkleypub for the gifted early copy of SAFARI MURDER PARTY. I grabbed this adventurous read when I sat poolside a couple weekends ago and it was the perfect vibe to get caught up in. 👏🏼 • 📝 Review: 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cheeky, and bloody, corporate satire. Ambition and greed fuel an island trapped game of survival with a little enemies to lovers side-plot thrown in for fun. It’s non-stop action with horrible people, but they’re also totally entertaining in their horrible-ness, and a leading lady who just wanted a reasonable promotion and didn’t sign up for this shit. It’s campy, and occasionally silly, but thoroughly wild and engaging with great pacing and a colorful setting. Overall, it was a thrilling read. 🦁 • • • #safarimurderparty #rachelmoor

I have my towel and sunscreen ready. And I’m loaded up with great pool reads. Truth be told, I haven’t read many purely uplifting reads this year. And I’m not even sure I’ve read one romance. 😱 But starting this weekend, I am ready to dive into all the feel good, endorphin boosting, swoon worthy reading! (If you see me blushing by the pool, you’ll know why!) Each of these books are written by tried-and-true, n

Thriller book meets survivalist vibes in this wildly entertaining mystery story! 🐅🐒 🔑 Think locked room mystery meets dark humor. ‼️ AKA: plan to stay up late reading just one more chapter. The vibes: 🎞️ Did you enjoy the movie Send Help? 🌴 Do you like thriller books that also have a survival element to them? 💸 Do you enjoy books about the rich doing over-the-top things? ❤️ Do you like a bit of romance with your thrills? 🎭 Do you like when comedy meets action? 🏢 Do corporate retreats give you the chills? If you answered yes to any of the above questions, you might just need to add Safari Murder Party to your TBR! From the moment this story started I knew I was going to love our witty main character, Fletcher Spence. She’s got a plan for everything, but maybe not the chaotic life-or

⭐️⭐️⭐️ This Inevitable Ruin (Dungeon Crawler Carl 7) by Matt Dinniman Thank you @berkleypub and @acebookspub for the free book! #berkley #berkleypartner #berkleybookstagram I can’t lie, I was disappointed with this book. I liked it, it wasn’t bad, but after LOVING the first six books, This Inevitable Ruin was a let down. I think my biggest issue with it is that the plot has taken over the story. With these books I don’t want much plot, I mostly just want Carl and Donut in the Dungeon. I want absurd antics and shenanigans and sticky situations. I don’t care very much about the wider story, and because of the nature of this floor, the wider story took center stage. And on top of that (or maybe because of that) this book wasn’t much fun. It wasn’t as crazy as the other books, it didn’t shock

Tofino - the darling spot on Vancouver Island and star of our perfect storm. It is a place I’ve been going since I was a kid, a beautiful west coast, moody and desolate escape from mainland life. As a non romance reader, Carley’s ability to craft Canadian locations as characters themselves is what continues to resonate with me. Her latest book is utterly stuffed with memories of Tofino - the sights, the sounds, the smells. The relationships that are explored alongside it are certainly an added plus! What a treat it was to attend @vancouverwritersfest event yesterday and listen to Carley & Meredith discuss all the book anecdotes & exciting adaptation news. Inspired by this book & evening, swipe to see some of my favourite Tofino itinerary spots I continue to go back to 🫶🏼 thank you to @be

🦓 Safari Murder Party by @byrachelmoore ~ Review 🦓 Happy release day!! 🥳🥳 #berkleypartner 🦓 This is such a fun mystery thriller — set on an island — that has a really incredible romance! 🦓 I mean, Knives Out meets Jumanji?! 🦓 Fletcher is the executive assistant to Dyer, who dies on their company’s corporate retreat. 🦓 Where his will is read, and it’s determined that whoever lives through the week on the private island, where they’re stuck, inherits the company itself. 🦓 There goes safari paradise — enter murderous greed! 🦓 Thankfully, Fletcher finds an ally in Dyer’s son, Waylon. 🦓 And he’s so protective of her — I adore them! 🦓 Maybe neither Fletcher nor Waylon knew who they were or what they were capable of before this retreat… and it’s clear that this will change everything

obsessed with him, always Book: Irresistible Urge To Fall For Your Enemy I love this book so freaking muchhhh 🥹 I reread it back in March so I could binge read book 2 (Exquisite Torment of Loving Your Enemy) & loved it even more the second time!!! Whimsical. Silly. Lighthearted. Action packed & fast paced. I’ve been really loving more lighthearted and whimsical stories lately (blame it on the sunny weather) bc they leave me feeling lighter every time I sit down to read. I’ve gotta keep my lips sealed about book 2 - but know that I absolutely devoured it and have over a hundred highlights on my kindle 😛😛😛 thank you Berkley for this finished copy!! #berkleypartner

New Thriller Mini Reviews 1️⃣NOT QUITE DEAD YET 4⭐️ (Paperback Pub 5/5): #gifted @bantambooks Great on audio and fast paced, this follows 27 year old Jet after she is attacked in her home on Halloween night. She knows she will die in 7 days and teams up with the police to investigate who tried to kill her. The race against the clock really drove the suspense in this story. There were plenty of twists that are hard to predict and will keep you guessing. Definitely perfect for summer if you love a whodunit with some family drama and a great main character. 2️⃣SUMMER’S NEVER OVER 4⭐️ (Pub 6/9): #gifted @berkleypub @prhaudio This debut was a great slow burn mystery, with shocking twists, and perfect to binge poolside or beachside. Even better, it takes place at a summer camp, making so much of
