Book Review 📖 The Open Era (#46) 5⭐️/ I really loved it! Swipe for @goodreads synopsis 🎾 Gah, my heart! This book is an absolute gem and one I felt honored to read. Thank you to @berkleyromance and @berkleypub for my #gifted sneak peek. This one isn’t out until June, but trust me, you’re going to want to add it to your summer TBR. 🎾 Austin is the first male, openly gay player in professional tennis and he’s qualified for his first US Open. He’s also struggled with crippling anxiety since his father’s death five years ago. This book focuses on the two-week period of the tournament. 🎾 What to expect: - fantastic characters - lines that made me laugh out loud, and intense scenes that left me crying in public (maybe don’t finish this one on a plane) - LGBTQ+ rep - mental health rep 🎾 I ad

✨BOOK SPOTLIGHT✨ I had the pleasure of chatting with @michelle.c.harris about her new release, A LATTE LIKE LOVE! Excerpts from the Q&A for #HarlequinJunkieBlog! 📖 Tell us about this book: A LATTE LIKE LOVE is about a Brooklyn barista, Audrey, who’s struggling to finish her college degree long after all the rest of her friends have graduated. One day, an artist who had recently been in a life-changing accident, Theo, walks into her café. Theo is extremely shy but extremely sweet, hides his face behind a KN95 mask he never removes, and the more he comes into the café, the more Audrey tries to strike up a friendship with him—until an altercation with the café’s resident Karen reveals his face to the world. 👩🏻‍🍳 Early Review 👩🏻‍🍳 • Thank you @berkleypub for the gifted early ecopy of MS MEBEL GOES BACK TO THE CHOPPING BLOCK, coming April 28th. I’m a huge fan of Sutanto’s cozy mystery/mayhem books. Aunties and Vera and now Mebel! The way Sutanto handles and creates the humor and exasperation of cross cultural, age and class, differences is just superb. It only works because of the heart and understanding she layers and grows with the characters. I can’t get enough of it. Full synopsis in comments below! ⬇️ • 📝 Review: 4 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This one is less mystery and mostly mayhem and I’m not mad at it. It’s a comedy of errors and hubris watching a very traditional Chinese-Indo trophy wife attend culinary school. Her motivation is a bit misguided BUT watching Mebel analyze and apply her own

This story drops you into 1796 Nova Scotia — bitter cold, endless wilderness, and survival that feels fragile at best. Cora has just arrived from Jamaica and nothing about this frozen landscape feels survivable, let alone welcoming. Then she sees tracks in the snow… and discovers Agnes, a young woman hiding deep in the woods, running from a past that could cost her everything. What unfolds is a story of two women carving out a fragile sanctuary for themselves in a world that isn’t built to protect them. The wilderness is harsh, isolating, and unforgiving — but it’s also the one place where they can attempt to choose their own future. FIREFLIES IN WINTER by @eleanorbshearer is historical fiction layered with tension, quiet resilience, and a story that feels both dangerous and necessary. Wha

Thank you @BerkleyPub and @PRHAudio for the free book and audiobook! #PRHAudioPartner 🦋 A Ghastly Catastrophe by Deanna Reybourn 🦋 Pub date: March 3, 2026 I have been a fan of this series from the start, and 10 books in, it’s as fresh and entertaining as ever. This one serves up a bit of gothic horror with its clever mystery and signature wit. Intrepid lepidopterist Veronica Speedwell and her dashing and broody companion, Stoker, investigate suspicious deaths, including one involving a victim whose death looks like the work of a vampire. Their investigation leads them to a cursed jewel and a secret society headed by a vampire and a witch. Stoker, the scientist, remains skeptical of the supernatural, but Veronica keeps an open mind. Veronica and Stoker share electric chemistry and deep de

My current reads are demanding as much time as I can give them, and I have several in my queue that I’m eager to start. I need to get my house in order because my mom will be arriving this weekend to spend part of spring break with us. And by the weekend, we will have traded the snow (YES, actual snow) in for 70 degrees. ● Book Feature & Review! I’m Not The Only Murderer In My Retirement Home • Fergus Craig Pub Date: 2.17.20226 Thank you so much for the #gifted book!! @BerkleyPub #BerkleyPartner Carol is a convicted elderly female serial killer, released from prison (I know, I don’t understand that either!) now living in an upscale old folks home, just minding her own business & trying to live out the rest of her life “retired” learning crochet & taking cooking classes. But someone in the home gets dead … and of course, who’s the first suspect? Yep, you guessed it. I think this story was supposed to be witty & charming & funny, because ya know: elderly people with all their quirkiness trying to do some amateur sleuthing with a retired serial killer thrown in the mix … but nope, just cringe. 🫩 I usually en
