You may have noticed that my tracker has been stopped in Yaoundé, Cameroon 🇨🇲 for the past two weeks. Here is what I can share for now. I was stopped by the military after filming a bridge considered a sensitive structure, without knowing it was a restricted area. I was then held in detention for about 15 days. During that time I had no access to my phone or my belongings and did not know exactly where I was. No one had been informed. Fortunately, I am free today. I cannot share more details on this platform at the moment. The last 14 days have been extremely difficult, but also very enriching on a human level.
