We couldn’t come all the way to Hong Kong not go to @hkdisneyland We spent 2 full days in the park and it was magical! It’s a smaller park so we maybe could have done it in one day, but we are big Disney fans so we wanted to take it all in! While we were there they were celebrating the 20th anniversary to it made it extra special! We also opted for early entry each day, it costs a bit extra but it was so worth it for us! That’s why in the video it looks like no one is there in some of the clips… it almost felt like we had the park to ourselves! Some of our personal highlights: 1. Duffy & Friends! Duffy is Mickey’s teddy bear and he is huge is Asia! The kids fell in love with the whole crew. 2. World of Frozen! This land was so cute. Felt like we stepped right into the movie. Our kids love

The new year has just started, here are some of the best places in Hong Kong to start your Year of the Horse. 🏮🐎 a visual guide of traditions, blessings, wishes, and a bit of festive lanterns in the city. 1. Wong Tai Sin Temple Start with blessings. Pray for luck and draw a fortune stick for guidance in the year ahead. 2. Cat Street Market (Sheung Wan) + Man Mo Temple Walk through antique stalls, look for lucky charms, and then step into one of Hong Kong’s oldest temples just a minute away. 3. Lee Tung Avenue Lantern installations will be up until March 15, 2026 in the heart of Wan Chai. 4. Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree (Tai Po) Write your wish, tie it to an orange, and toss it onto the tree, a tradition that carries hope into the months ahead. The celebrations may slow down, but the culture co

Hong Kong must eats (part 2) approved by locals! I’m British Chinese and this is everything I ate, ordered and loved in Hong Kong Island, approved by locals and masterchefs. Chiu Chow cuisine is highly underrated and this was one of the best meals I enjoyed in Hong Kong. Known for masterful marinated and braised meat, goose and seafood, there’s so much complexity in each bite and if you want an elevated version of this, @pakloh.privatekitchen Pak Loh Chiu Chow is a private kitchens serving up a delectable tasting menu. The chefs have over 30 years of experience and you can tell. Go easy on the homemade Chiu Chow chilli oil too. If you’ve ever wanted to try snake soup, a traditional Cantonese delicacy, you need to go to @ser.wong.fun.1895 Ser Wong Fun. It’s especially nourishing and healing

Hong Kong must eats (part 3) approved by locals! I spent 3 weeks eating around Hong Kong so here are my 5 must eats (New Territories edition) approved by locals and masterchefs. @3a.kitchen_ is a private kitchen hidden away in Tsuen Wan, a IYKYK spot serving one of the best meals I’ve ever had in Hong Kong and an example of style meets substance. Expect exemplary Cantonese seafood and each dish to be presented like pieces of art and do NOT miss out on their fried pigeon, juicy, crisp and plenty of flavour Each group has their own private dining room with a team of staff at hand. Sam Shing Village has some of the best seafood markets in Hong Kong. Pick your seafood at the stalls then take it over to the restaurant for it to be freshly prepared. Tsing Shan Wan is a restaurant favoured by loc

Hong Kong must eats approved by locals! Hong Kong is one of the best places in the world for food so here are three must eats in Kowloon approved by locals and recommended by master chefs. Oi Man Sang in Sham Shui Po is one of the last remaining dai pai dongs, an open air stall with a live cooking station on the street. Come here for their signature stir-fry king with garlic cloves, fresh and dried seafood, beef ho fun, steamed razor clams and king prawns with salted duck egg. @lau_sum_kee.1956 is an institution in Sham Shui Po, a third generation family business known for their bamboo pole kneaded noodles. Go for their signature noodle with braised beef brisket and tendo topped with shrimp roe, their wonton noodles made onsite with whole prawns and pork, and their homemade crunchy radish

Do you ever wish you could be a character in a classic Hong Kong movie? Since 1954, Lok Hau Fook in Kowloon has served delicious, classic Chaozhou cuisine and now its managed by third generation Simon Li and his family. I wasn’t prepared for what I was stepping into. For decades it was the go to filming location for triad, cop and family drama movies and TV shows. The interior encapsulates a nostalgic memory of Hong Kong. The dining room is the perfect setting for storytelling, the round tables a stage for breaking the tension of a negotiation. Kowloon City is a neighbourhood shaped by generations of immigrants and their culinary traditions. From Thai grocers nestled beside Cantonese noodle shops to family-run eateries specialising in freshwater fish, the district is a vibrant blend of evo
