✨ The new autumn menu at Amuse by Kevin Dalgleish is here… and WOW. 🍂 AD We were invited along to sample the brand-new menu and honestly, I’m struggling to put into words just how incredible it was. Every single course was outstanding — eight courses of absolute perfection. The flavours, presentation and attention to detail were next level, and I can genuinely say this was some of the best food I’ve eaten in the city in as long as I can remember. Amuse feels like complete luxury from the moment you walk through the door, and the new autumn menu takes that experience to another level. ✨ If you’re looking for somewhere really special to eat this autumn, put Amuse at the top of your list. 🍂🥂 Go and experience it for yourself — you absolutely will not be disappointed. ❤️ #AmuseByKevinDalgle

Ad/Invite Last Thursday we went along to @the_tilted_wig to try some of their new menu and also to take part in the pub quiz and generally act the goat. The new menu is packed with loads of proper tasty grub but we settled on: The Luchador Burger Chicken Tenders with Pineapple and Habanero Sauce Chicken Bites with Hot Honey Sauce Cheese and Bacon Burger Free Quiz Nachos! Going round the table, everyone was very satisfied with their dishes. I had the pineapple and Habanero tenders, and not only were the tenders lovely but the sauce had all the spice and heat I hoped for. The Luchador Burger was a thing of beauty too with a double burger, chilli and all the fixings! Even better, Monday to Friday 5 till 7 is HUNGRY HOUR where you get any beer and burger for £19.50 which is an outstanding deal

AD | Invited - So America had it first... and now Aberdeen does too? You might have spotted a rather unusual little horse cart at Aberdeen Beach serving coffee, sweet treats and creations inspired by American reels. Meet GiddyCup! Toni started the business after leaving her job as a postie. After being given a hard time trying to swap her day off to attend her son Jacob’s P1 sports day, she decided she wanted to become her own boss. Three months later she left, and says it’s the best thing she ever did. More time with Jacob, meeting new people every day and now running her own business by the beach. I’ve had her lattes before and they’re incredible btw ☕️ Toni invited me down to try the Split Cups and WAFFLES ON STICKS. The Split Cup gives you two completely different drinks side by side.

PINEHURST LODGE HOTEL x ABERDEEN RESTAURANT WEEKS ✨Ad | Aberdeen Restaurant Week Ambassador If you’re looking for somewhere to enjoy a proper hearty meal during Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks, Pinehurst Lodge Hotel in Dyce is one to add to your list! 🍽️ There’s such a lovely family story behind Pinehurst Lodge. The same family has owned the business since 1994, when Ryan’s in laws bought it as a bar restaurant. Before that, it was the vicar’s house, before that, a chicken farm. 🐔 Now for the important bit… THE FOOD! 🤤 🥂 Non alcoholic champagne to start, beautifully presented in a champagne glass. 🥣 Lentil soup with oatcakes, which was absolutely excellent. 🍗 Maple Sesame chicken, crispy sesame battered chicken coated in a maple soya glaze, served with sweet mustard plus burnt onion colesl

If you’re a fan of Turkish food, you NEED to try this! 😍 I had the chance to try their 3 course menu for just £30, and there was so much to choose from! @sofraaberdeen @abdninspired Ad. 🥛 I started with a traditional Turkish milky based drink before getting stuck into the starters. 🍤 Sarimsakli Karides, King Prawns sautéed in garlic butter. These were SO good and full of flavour! 🌶️ Ezme, a delicious spicy tomato and onion meze. 🧄 Hummus, creamy crushed chickpeas blended with tahini, olive oil and a hint of garlic. For the mains, I tried the Pilich Special, chicken slices served with chopped pitta, garlic yoghurt, aleppo and butter sauce. Honestly, this was my favourite! 🤤🔥 The combination of flavours was incredible. I also tried the Tavuk Salatasi, Chicken pieces in a warm honey an

AD | Aberdeen's newest café might just become one of its most beloved. Five Loaves Café has recently opened on George Street and it's built on Christian values and everyone is welcome here regardless of your beliefs! After spending some time there, I left feeling like this place is about far more than great coffee and food. While I was filming, a lady popped in from a nearby business and quietly asked if someone could pray for her because she was going through a difficult time. Owner Stephen immediately offered to sit with her and pray. She couldn't stay, but you could see the relief on her face knowing someone genuinely cared. It was a small moment that said everything about this place. The coffee is fantastic, using the same beans as @filo_coffeehouse, from a roaster in Inverness. They e

AD | Invite @yorokobi_cj My friend and I were kindly invited along for dinner, and after 2-3 years away I'd almost forgotten just how good the food here really is. After more than 20 years in Aberdeen, it's easy to see why they've built such a loyal following. Every single dish impressed us. The cosy restaurant creates a lovely, intimate atmosphere that's perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a relaxed date night. We visited on what turned out to be an unusually busy Tuesday, but thanks to the fantastic team, service never skipped a beat. Food arrived quickly, the staff were warm, attentive and knowledgeable, and we loved getting recommendations from the menu, especially the Spicy Tuna Tartar. Some of our highlights included: Spicy Tuna Tartar - rich, flavour-packed and a real s

AD | ARW Ambassador From Canada to Aberdeen, with plenty of Scotch Beef along the way! I headed back to Chop Bar & Grill with some of my badminton pals for an Aberdeen Restaurant Weeks preview, and before visiting I wanted to learn a little more about the story behind CHOP. The brand was founded in Canada in 2007 and describes itself as “tomorrow’s steakhouse”, somewhere that combines great steaks and drinks with modern, relaxed dining rather than saving steakhouse experiences solely for special occasions. There are now 20 locations across North America but just two in Scotland, and they’ve made a conscious effort to embrace their Scottish home. All their steaks here are 100% Scotch Beef, born, reared and fully traceable, while Scotland-exclusive dishes bring some local influence to CHOP’s

I used to think wine tasting was just people pretending they could taste “a hint of pencil shavings and wet grass…” 🍷😂 Turns out… I couldn’t have been more wrong! AD We had the loveliest afternoon at the Sip Sessions at Six by Nico Aberdeen. For just £30 per person, you’ll enjoy a guided tasting of five carefully selected wines, with the sommelier explaining the story behind each one, from the grape and region to the flavours and why it’s been chosen. It was relaxed, informative, and so much fun—even if you don’t know the first thing about wine (like me! 🙋🏼♀️). We also added the snacks and small plates, and I’d definitely recommend doing that. They paired perfectly with the wines and made the whole experience feel even more special. Whether you’re planning a date night, a girls’ day o

Ad/Invite 🍔 Brewdog Inverurie 🍻 I was invited out to Brewdog Inverurie over the weekend and as well as learning about about it's "Community Bar" status, I also sampled some of the delicious menu and of course the beer! Despite frequenting Brewdog a lot over the years, I never made it out to the Inverurie bar. When it closed earlier in the year I thought I'd had my chips, but like a phoenix from the flames it has risen once again along with a new sense of purpose. Spearheaded by the manager and keen regulars, this is the first Brewdog community bar, meaning that once it hits profit it gives back to the community, supporting Inverurie. As well as being a fantastic thing for the community, this bar greatly impressed me with it's "old school" Brewdog vibe as well as some fantastic staff and

My fourth Aberdeen Restaurant Week review! 🍽️✨AD I was invited along to Kippie Lodge to taste test their Aberdeen Restaurant Week menu, and there was so much to love! 😍 My absolute favourite had to be the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings 🌶️ — crispy, packed with flavour and served with a ranch-style dressing that was so good! And then came the Sticky Toffee Pudding… I absolutely adored it! 🤎 For Aberdeen Restaurant Week, Kippie Lodge are offering: ✨ 2 courses for £20 ✨ 3 courses for £30 Another fantastic stop on my Aberdeen Restaurant Week food trail — and I’ve still got more reviews to come! 👀🍴 #AberdeenRestaurantWeek #ARW #AberdeenFood #AberdeenEats #AberdeenRestaurants

AD • I always wished for a restaurant like this in Westhill, Aberdeenshire when I as growing up there, and I am SO glad to see @duncanosbistro still serving the community five years on. The bistro has just recently revealed a new menu and I thought it was about time to finally take Calum along, seeing as he hadn’t visited before. Calum and I both actually met when we were living in Westhill, so it was nice to go out for a date night in our old stomping ground. What we ordered: 🍗Korean chicken bao buns with cucumber and cabbage salad 🧀Peri-Peri halloumi sliders with Peri-Peri mayonnaise, lettuce, tomato and grilled pineapple 🍴7oz Rump steak with peppercorn sauce and chips 🥙Lamb flatbread with pomegranate, feta, parsley, sunblush tomatoes, pickled red onion, tzatziki and Duncano’s house

This is how Chop Bar & Grill throws a party! AD | INVITED If this was Chop Bar & Grill's way of introducing their new menu... they absolutely nailed it. My mate Allan and I were invited along to Chop's Fire-themed creator event and honestly, it was one of the best hospitality events I've been to in a long time. Yes, it was busy, but it never felt overcrowded. The team had everything running like clockwork, with plenty of food, cocktails and mocktails flowing all evening, no long waits, and staff who were genuinely brilliant from start to finish. 🥩 The steak station? I think I lost count of how many times I went back. It was good! 🍣 The spicy tuna rolls disappeared just as quickly. The scallops were also absolutely fantastic. Everything we tried left me wanting to come back and experience

✨ NEW CAFÉ ALERT ✨ I’ve just discovered Five Loaves Café, a brand-new café on George Street in Aberdeen, and honestly… what a wonderful addition to the city! 🥹☕️ AD We had the Wilderness Bowl, French Toast, Grilled Ham & Cheese, Lemon Pepper Chicken, Prosciutto & Burrata — and I couldn’t resist trying their Pink Strawberry Matcha 🍓💗 There’s genuinely something for everyone here, with gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan options available too. 🌱 And one of my favourite things about Five Loaves Café is that they’re also donating to local food banks, giving back to the community while creating such a lovely space for people to enjoy. ❤️ If you’re in Aberdeen, definitely get yourself along and show this brand-new café some love. I’m so excited to see this place thrive and become a favourite i

AD @oki_doki_georgian_restaurant One meal at Oki Doki is all it takes to feel like you've escaped Aberdeen and landed somewhere in the heart of Georgia. 🇬🇪 I was kindly invited back to this cosy spot on Windmill Brae and honestly, it reminded me exactly why I enjoyed it so much the first time. It's cosy, welcoming, full of authentic Georgian artefacts and décor, and has that lovely family-run atmosphere that makes you want to stay just a little longer. We had the borscht first which was a lovely hot, hearty meat and vegetable soup. This time I tried the famous Adzharuli again, a traditional Georgian cheese bread with a runny egg and butter in the middle. Rich, comforting and absolutely delicious. We also shared the Big Khinkali Tasting Set, giving us the chance to try a variety of these

Ad/Invite 🦌 Tullynessle Deer Farm 🦌 On Sunday we were invited out to Tullynessle Deer Farm for their open day. As well as seeing the deer on the farm, we were treated to some informative talks, a vintage steam roller demonstration, a gun dog display and also a BBQ featuring the venison. Now I had tried venison before but never FARMED venison and the difference is noteworthy. The farmed version has a better flavour (less gamey) and is also leaner than its wild counterpart. It was also very interesting to find out that venison is super healthy for you and absolutely trounces beef in it's nutritional value. I was so impressed by it, that I bought some venison on the day to take home for my home cooking (keep your eyes open for the results!!). It's clear that the farm is a real labour of lov
