What’s your favourite medium? 4 years ago, Ohuhu sent me their 320 set of alcohol markers, and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve seen the improvements made along the way, and the Honolulu 2S is my favourite version yet: the soft chisel nib is easily the best upgrade by far, because now I can make it a more painterly experience when making brush strokes. If it makes my life easier, then I’m a much happier artist! #OhuhuHonolulu #Honolulu2S #OhuhuSoftChisel #sketchbookart

Just gotta trust the process. I never blend acrylic markers, but when there’s a marker made specifically for that purpose, well, I just have to try, right? Side note: the way this paper was able to withstand the water added to it. I was impressed. #markerart #ohuhumarkers #acrylicmarkers

One of the portraits from my book, colored with alcohol markers and acrylic markers ✨ I start with alcohol markers, working from light to dark and blending while the ink is still wet. I like adding pinks, purples and blues to make the skin more colorful and dimensional. Then I use acrylic markers for details and highlights. Since they’re opaque, they help cover the red sketch and give the portrait a cleaner finish. This portrait is from my book Portraits à dessiner et coloriser, with detachable pages so you can experiment with your own colors and techniques. Materials: @ohuhuart alcohol markers + acrylic markers (gifted) Would you like to see more coloring demos from my book? #artprocess #artdaily #drawingportrait #artreelsvideo #artpractice
