We kicked off summer with the most unforgettable family road trip curated by Omni celebrating America’s 250th. We packed up the car and headed out for a little California road trip from home to Palm Springs, and then down to San Diego… and it truly felt like the kind of getaway you never want to end 🤍 We got a rental from @Sixt, which made everything so easy from the very start. Our first stop was the iconic Cabazon Dinosaurs before checking in to @rancholaspalmas. From there it was straight into vacation mode with poolside lunches, golden desert afternoons, and lots of family fun. During our stay we explored Palm Springs, saw some of the iconic landmarks in person, floated the lazy river, raced down water slides, cooled off at the pool, and played games in the arcade. We said goodbye to the desert and headed from Palm Springs down to San Diego. We made it to Omni La Costa Resort & Spa and checked into the coolest room ever. That night we had dinner at VUE on property and everything was incredible. Afterwards we roasted s’mores by the firepit and it was the perfect ending to the day. The next morning we had a picnic breakfast at Lagoon Discovery Center where we got to interact with and feed so many animals. Later that day Jake and Lila had a pickleball lesson together. Their coach was so kind and encouraging. Then I headed to the spa on the property and I genuinely think it was one of the most beautiful spas I’ve ever been to. Every corner was gorgeous. 🥂🌹 Spending a weekend at the @omniorlandofl made our Valentine’s Day even more special. all weekend long there were romantic activities like a couples painting class, exercise, classes, photo ops, and of course, a fabulous set up at the adults only pool. We had a cabana for the day and enjoyed sipping on specialty Valentine cocktails and listening to the DJ, before heading to a romantic dinner on the terrace. Dinner on the terrace was a special valentine three course pre-fixe dinner. We started with a glass of champagne and enjoyed some of the most beautiful scallops we’ve ever had. We ended the evening with a movie on the lawn and a nice walk through the resort. For America’s 250th, @omnihotels is celebrating with iconic road trips and we went on one and are excited to share our classic California adventure we took as a family. On the way to Palm Springs, of course, we had to make the classic stop at the Cabazon Dinosaurs. We took so many photos, walked around for a bit, and honestly… the dinos were even cuter in person. Then it was back on the road and officially into vacation mode once we arrived at @rancholaspalmas. We went straight to the pool for lunch in our cabana, relaxing in the sunshine, and soaking up that warm desert air. It instantly felt like we could slow down and just enjoy being together.
