Challenge accepted 💪😏 I’ve always dreamed of trekking in the Colombian jungle - especially the Ciudad Perdida trail! And now that I’ve done it… I can say: it was muddy and messy, hot and humid… and in some parts the sun was merciless. We even almost stepped on a poisonous snake! 🙈 But honestly, this is exactly the kind of challenge I’m looking for when I travel and the view from above left me speechless! Travel always looks different, but having gear you don’t have to think about makes a huge difference. The Osprey Farpoint 40 came everywhere with me last year from wandering through Peru & Southeast Asia to van trips and long days out across the UK. Save this reel for travelling w/ dogs top tips👇🏼 this year I’m on a mission to create dog-friendly trips that explore Scotland using only public transport, and first on our list is Oban! Taking your dog on the train can be quite daunting, so here are some things that really help me: 1) ease them into train travel by doing a couple bus trips first 2) take them for a nice big walk the day before to tire them out 3) bring lots of treats and reward frequently to make it a positive experience 4) try reserve a table seat if you can so they can snooze underneath 5) keep your hands free! you’ll need them for steering the dogs/handing over tickets/ holding handrails etc … which leads me to 6) pick your bags carefully!
