  3. So about last Thursday… 😱. I was so incredibly blessed to be asked to build a Sandcastle for @todayshow with @hodaandjenna Jenna who were coming to film their latest show at @thelorenbermuda in Bermuda. Determined to do the best piece possible on their beach I arrived the night before and packed and piled for 4hours. The sand at pink beach doesn’t like to play nice but we got there. I was then back first thing in the morning to carve for the next three hours. I could hear the cheers of the show being taped in front of a live audience.. all the beautiful people in hair and makeup while I tried to wipe sand out of my eyes and nostrils. 🤣 In a whirl of people and cameras the time arrived. I sucked in, tried not to get tongue tied, answered the questions, smiled and wooosh just like that it was a wrap. Time for a quick selfie and the crowd moved on.. I think this might have been my 5 min of fame ..but honestly I’m still in shock. 😂🤣😂 Thank you @theaellen @sexy_reef_ambassadors @sclagett and everyone else who helped make this happen and kept me calm ! Can I get a refill‼️ My hair has desperately needed a trim since my last big chop (BC) in January 2021, in addition to a treatment since I fell off doing my own at home - too busy dealing with home, family and the businesses to take care of myself. In a nut shell, my self care and need to refill the cup I was continually pour out for any and everything else was running on ‘Empty’. Not to mention the emotions that come with it all, depression, anxiety, overwhelmed from carrying the loads… Sis needed a pick me up! You see, I knew I needed to do something for me, but even when I booked the appointment, I felt guilty of what I was about to spend on myself because I only prioritized everything else but me. I was soooo close to canceling a perfect appointment while ALL the kids where in school do to so many reasons I factored in my head as “why I should” renege on myself and leave the money I would spend to the norm: - Bills - Bills - Bills - Groceries 💸 - Gas - Kids needs/wants - Business payments - Something broken or gone wrong payment …. the list is continuous 😓 But like everything else I need answers for, I asked God what I should or shouldn’t do - and he gave me the go to make me a priority ❤️🙏🏾 #thankyoulord As parents, business owners and the likes who have never ending responsibilities to encounter every minute, hour, day and so forth…. It can become so easy to get caught up in everything and everyone but ourselves. And we know its not good but it ‘just happens’ that way. So if there’s something you’ve been holding back from doing for yourself to uplift your spirits and refill your empty or evaporated cup…. do it! You’ll feel so much better that you did. And if your not sure, ask God and he will give you an answer.
