  3. when you trust the process and your video goes viral 👀 you should’ve seen my face after i looked at the first coat of limewash 🫠😭 but they all say, it gets better, and that’s 100% the key to faux limewash — lots of thin, light coats (and i mean lots!!!!!!) and eventually you will end up with the most beautiful, organic, soft textured wall. it was definitely a risk deciding to colour drench the stairwell ceiling in green limewash too, but i totally think it paid off! this totally transformed our staircase and i’m obsessed with how it turned out! literally the most dramatic before and after!! ✨ here’s to all my haterz!!!!!! this diy gal did it!!! 🤪 here’s your sign to do limewash for your next home project!!! moral of the story: ACTUALLY trust the process, i promise!

Ça fait plusieurs semaines que je vous en parle: j’ai finalement changé la housse de mon sofa IKEA pour une housse @bemzdesign et je suis en AMOUR 💛🤍🤎 Il n’y avait rien de mal avec la housse d’avant, mais j’ai toujours trouvé qu’elle fittait moyen dans le décor et j’avais envie de quelque chose de plus fun, qui me ressemble plus. La housse est un mélange de lin et de coton Better Cotton Initiative (super doux!) et c’était vraiment easy breezy à installer, genre j’ai pu le faire seule.   3. 💩 Disinfect your toilet brush! You all know how much I love sanitizing and extending the life of my sponges and brushes. Just soak for 30+ mins in hydrogen peroxide. . Hydrogen peroxide is a great disinfectant, safe for us and the environment. It is simply H2O2 which means it breaks down into water and oxygen. I wish I took a before an after because it got rid of all the orange mildew and black mold creeping onto the wood. I labelled this old takeout container to be sure no one uses it to pack my lunch one day 🤢 You probably have a plastic brush which you can also soak. It’s tempting to throw it out and buy a wood one but try to use what you got first. My old one actually broke and I tried to crazy glue it to no avail. I can’t lie I was happy to replace it with this @redeckeruk brush. I will compost in the yard waste bag once it’s done but it should last a long time with care. .
