While I’m forever grateful that Maeve is my first sport dog, I’ll probably always wish I had been able to provide the same life to my Rosie❤️ She was well cared for and lived a good pet life, but I think she would’ve truly thrived with a “job”. She LOVED to retrieve and I so wish I could’ve given her the opportunity to do what she was bred for (for real). Perhaps if we didn’t suddenly lose her so young, I would have gotten the opportunity, but then I don’t think I’d have my Maevey girl.   2. Sept 8th started hunting - Tagged out November 26th. This year's hunt was unreal tough, lower numbers, weather being unusually warm, and my target never making an appearance. With countless hours throughout the season, I was fortunate as heck to harvest this big, beautiful ,mature bush buck.
