I know this seems a little weird and creepy, but this is what was really going on… My husband @johndouglastrapp and I have been together for 26 years, 3 kids, 9 houses, 5 businesses, 4 dogs, 2 cats…and a LOT of life events 😆 Trust me when I say that we spend a lot of time together BUT going on dates over the years has definitely taken a VERY backseat to the busyness of our lives. Recently, we began to really notice how deep and comfortable our patterning was when he would suggest we go and do something together and I would say, “can we just cuddle and watch a show with popcorn?” (I seriously love my sweatpants, my bed, and getting into a good series that him and I can riff on for days). But we were stuck without even knowing just how stuck we were. Then, to my surprise, he bought me one of those cheesy date books for Christmas. It has 52 date ideas (one for every week of the year), and you don’t know what the date is until you scratch it off. Last night’s date was called, “Ghost Me,” and well..I think the video says it all. Only, John was sweet enough to set it up in our sauna, play my fave soundtrack (Dirty Dancing, of course), and then when we finished creating, we crawled into bed and Watched Ghost (I think I liked our scene better 😆❤️). It felt weird, a little awkward, but was soooo much fun! Realizing that we learn more about eachother when we are out of our daily habits has been fire 🔥 for our marriage. As I sit quietly in the energy of the new year and begin to plant new seeds to be manifested, I couldn’t help but look around and shed some tears in gratitude for the home we called in last year. Truth is, we had thought AND tried really, REALLY hard- to build a new home on our farm property in Vernon. But nothing was working. And then, just like that, we stopped trying. And that’s when this home popped up….but it was still in our hometown of Edmonton 🤔 Dreams work like that sometimes. I’m learning to trust the vision but let go of the how, the when, and even in this case- the where. Because you never know the bigger purpose to your life until you let go and create space for magic 💫❤️ Turns out, we can have our cake AND eat it too!! (In other words- what’s better than one country property?? Two!! 😍) Now…who wants to see my meditation loft?!!! 😉❤️❤️❤️ #manifest #nordicliving #scandihome #dreamhome #nordicstyle

  3. Manifest Ceremony with the best of them 2026. Had the most wonderful time honoring and tuning into our sacred needs and desires with these ladies. To be witnessed by these women this year is what I am calling in for myself! To be seen, heard, honored and witnessed is so powerful and I am so excited for all of it! Every single moment!
