  3. I know this is a much longer video than I would normally share, but I couldnā€™t not post it. What youā€™re watching here is the result of an entire community coming together for one very special person. In just two weeks, local businesses, volunteers, family, friends, neighbours and complete strangers pulled together to create something that can only be described as a mini festival in honour of our beautiful Alan. A field filled with almost 200 tractors, close to 100 lorries, vintage cars, motorbikes, children proudly driving their own little tractors, live music, families, friends and supporters from near and far. Everywhere you looked, there were people who cared enough to show up, make the effort and be part of something special. Every tractor, every donation, every raffle prize, every helping hand, every hour of planning and organising was given so generously by people who wanted to celebrate Alanā€™s life and support the charities benefiting from the day. The weather was better than we could ever have imagined. The Irish sun showed up in full force, and the atmosphere throughout the day was something Iā€™ll never forget. It was emotional, it was powerful, and it reminded us just how incredible our community truly is. Bittersweet doesnā€™t even begin to cover it, because this was exactly the kind of day Alan would have loved. He would have been right in the middle of it all chatting to everyone, climbing into tractors, causing a bit of mischief and making people laugh. To see something of this scale come together in such a short space of time was remarkable. What started as an idea became a day that brought thousands of people together, raised money for charity, and celebrated a life that touched so many people. To everyone who donated, organised, sponsored, volunteered, attended, shared, drove, performed, helped behind the scenes or simply showed up thank you. We truly donā€™t have the words.   2. I ended the year & started the new one in a negative mind frame. All i could see was the bad that the last 12 months brought and i felt yet again it was another year wrote off. I'd planned on putting together a recap but that got pushed aside to make room for my rain cloud lol. Having some time to look back it reminds me there is so much good in my life.
