  2. This Mother’s Day, I found myself looking back at the earliest days of my motherhood journey. I remember the very first day I became a mother the day my entire life changed forever. Everything suddenly had a new meaning. Now, as the mother of an almost four-year-old son, I look back at that younger version of myself with so much pride. It was my first time, I was learning everything as I went, yet somehow I knew how to comfort my baby, how to soothe him, and how to love him with everything I had. Sometimes I wish I could go back and give that version of myself a hug, the tired, learning, trying mother who was doing her best every single day. I’m so proud of her. Proud that she trusted her heart and showed up for her child no matter what anyone else said. #motherhoodjourney
