Being highly educated in your expertise. A client of mine is a friend of hers, and she sent her my way for extensions. We decided on hair replacement and scheduled a design appointment for a week later. She NEVER saw my website, she NEVER even knew my branding! What she did see is a stylist knowledgeable from top to bottom on her service and heard I was great from someone else. Yes, I got a *several thousand* dollar sale without ever being viewed online.   3. Maybe you misjudged their scalp before installing the first time.. but after your client comes back for a reinstall/move up and you find an inflamed scalp over every bead? It’s time to remove and reconsider. It might be hard to see here, but her scalp was inflamed across the board anywhere the extensions touched, and her shade rate is high. For a natural density like this, combined with a high shed rate and an inflamed scalp? Wefts cannot be the solution. This was her first time in my chair. We removed and moved forward with lightweight, low density ktips and a treatment plan for her scalp. Saying no might suck, but caring for the clients hair and scalp health should be your highest priority 🤍

I’ve been slowly but surely getting back these last two months by implementing nutrient-dense foods. Notice how I didn’t say “diet” because realistically postpartum moms should NOT be doing a calorie deficit diet. Why? Well many reasons…. For starters, if you’re breastfeeding you’re literally feeding a whole other human being - so it is crucial to be eating properly to nourish your baby. Also, fun fact: you’re burning calories when you’re breastfeeding. Second, even if you’re not breastfeeding your body is still working overtime to bring back all of your organs back together again. I’m currently working on a meal plan for both breastfeeding mommas and formula-fed mommas to help them lose weight without compromising nourishment to your body. I’m SO excited for this!
