  2. On June 13, 2026, Carly Faye Douglas stepped into complete glory, in her final resting place. She met her Maker and Savior face to face, and her arms are full with her two Heaven babies. Carly fought cancer with grit and determination; while being full of hope and always pointing anyone who would listen, back to God, the One who held her in the palm of His hand. Carly was joy personified, pure sunshine. It felt as though her smile was permanently stitched on her face and her laugh was constantly waiting to bubble out of her. To be known by Carly Faye, was to be loved by Carly Faye. She treasured her children and savored every moment with them, soaking up every last drop of giggles and hugs until the very end. Being River, Faye, and Townes’ mother was her greatest honor and joy. Carly loved her husband, David, with everything she had. Her best friend, her person, the man she could not wait to see walk through the door every evening. Their love was deep and wide and permeated every inch of their lives and home. Carly loved her parents deeply, and family was always incredibly important to her. She shared an especially treasured bond with her mom, who was not only a parent but her best friend and the ultimate comfort through every season of life. We are devastated for us here, without her. The Carly sized hole left in her family and friends’ lives will never be filled. But, we do not grieve without hope. We know she is whole, complete, and the most joyful, radiant version of herself.   2. Triple-Layered Ice Cream Cups🦋 Inspired by a classic Neopolitan ice cream I had as a kid, this is 3 luscious layers of no-churn, flower-infused dairy-free ice cream. This is a perfect and simple dessert for Mother’s Day or any occasion! Ingredients: Base: 1 13.5 ounce can of full fat coconut milk 1 1/2 cups “raw” cashews 1/2 honey or maple syrup Pinch of sea salt Optional: 1/2 cup lilac blooms (no green) Layers: Blue Vanilla: 2 teaspoons Butterfly pea flower powder @animamundiherbals 1/8 teaspoon vanilla powder Option: 1/2 cup lilac flowers Chocolate Happiness: 1 teaspoon Happiness powder from @animamundiherbals 1 teaspoon cacao powder Strawberry Rose: 1/2 cup fresh or frozen strawberries, chopped 1 teaspoon rose powder from anima mundi Directions: 1. Place cashews in a heatproof bowl and pour boiling water over the top, soaking for 20 minutes. Strain cashews and place in a high speed blender. 2. If adding lilacs, warm the coconut milk to near boiling and pour it over the top of the lilac flowers for 20 minutes. Strain the flowers and add the coconut milk to the blender. 3. Add all base ingredients to the blender and blend on high until completely creamy. Divide into three bowls. 4. In each bowl, add each of the layer ingredients and blend each separately until creamy. 5. Add the blue layer first and pour into clear glasses or small bowls and freeze for 10-15 minutes. 6 Next pour the chocolate and happiness layer into the glasses on top of the frozen blue layer. 7. Finally add the strawberry and rose layer and sprinkle on rose powder, edible flowers and a slice of strawberry to finish. Freeze until just solid, about 10-15 minutes, and serve.

Rose & Ginger Chocolate-Dipped Shortbread Rose is an incredible ally for the immune system, and it’s great for digestion and stomach issues, as well as being thought of as a mild aphrodisiac.  Rose is known as both a heart-opening and softening herb and as a protector and guardian of the emotional heart—soft petals and fierce thorns!  Scented roses are the often the strongest medicinally, but all roses are edible and medicinal. Rose & Ginger Shortbread dipped in Dark Chocolate Ingredients: 1 ¼ cups gluten-free 1:1 flour blend 1 cup oat flour  1 cup vegan butter, cubed and at room temperature (can use regular butter) ½ cup powdered sugar (monkfruit or powdered sugar) ¼ cup maple syrup 1-2 Tbsps fresh grated ginger or 2 teaspoons dry powdered ginger  3 Tbsps rose powder  ½ teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon vanilla extract ½ cup 60% or more dark chocolate Garnish with flaky salt and dried rose petals Directions: In a large mixing bowl, use a hand or stand mixer and whip together the powdered sugar and butter, and add the maple syrup, until well-combined. Add the rose powder, vanilla, ginger, and salt and mix well until combined. Now add the flour and mix until the batter is a smooth ball. Roll out the ball to about 1/2 inch thickness between two pieces of parchment paper. Use a knife to cut out 3 inch by 1 inch long rectangles-it doesn’t need to be perfect. Place in the freezer for about 10 minutes until they harden up. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 350F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Bake the cookies for 10-12 minutes until they begin to get slightly golden. Cool completely on a rack before dipping in chocolate. Melt the chocolate in a heat-safe bowl and dip the cookies halfway, placing them on parchment paper.
