  3. Qatar Airways QSuites: $14,100 Bank Account: $14,100.75 In light of transparency because you know I'm always open about money, how much we spend on travel, how we save etc. Here's a break down: - 3 round trip tickets from Los Angeles, California to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in Qatar Airways Q Suites business class costs about $14,100 total. - Each plane ticket is about $4,700 PER person. Truthfully this is an expense that I personally couldn't justify spending on regardless of how bad I wanted to experience it. Given how frugal I am, the full price of this ticket gave me major anxiety 😫 I won't even lie. So, here's how I made it worth it for us & was able to justify paying the portion that we did. - I planned our flight around a press / sponsored trip, meaning that the economy part of the ticket would be covered for us & we would only need to pay to upgrade our seats bringing the cost down significantly. - Upgrading the long leg of the trip, the 15.5/16 hour potion versus every leg on the trip helps keep the cost down. - Using our compensation from the press trip to cover our upgrade. Think of it as working for free for an experience you've always wanted. - Marking any additional expense as a business expense. Given all 3 of us are employees of our business & this is a business trip, it counts as a business expense. Going the business route & crunching numbers overall made this upgrade more attainable. I've seen people rack up enough miles to pay $0 for QSuites which is amazing. Part of us getting out of debt was ditching credit cards for a bit so that we could stay on track. However my goal is to be able to build enough points to fly QSuites for free lol. One day one day 🙌🏾 What I learned overall: - Starting a travel blog 5 years was worth it. - Running it as a small business & making sure to take advantage of every deduction possible has been very helpful. Note that you can much find cheaper QSuite flights. For ex, when flying from the east coast such as NY & DC airports, prices are cheaper. Also depends on where you're flying to! PS, we were NOT sponsored by Qatar Airways, I wish 😭. Speaking it into existence 🙌🏾. ➡️ Please ask any questions 🥰

  3. Well, it’s official…We sold the 5th wheel and truck and moved into a 4x4 Class C! We’ve lived in a van, a TT, a 5th wheel, and even a tent over the past seven years!   We’re super excited to share this next stage of our RV journey with you in this all-new @dynamaxmotorhomes Isata 6! This will be a different style of travel for us, and we’re excited to try out the 4x4 Class C life for a while.   We shared the story on our YouTube channel about how we serendipitously parked next to one of the coolest RVs we’ve ever seen right after we bought our 5th wheel (@maxroam_1 ). Tom was one of the early adopters to modify his Dynamax Isata 5 with Liquid Springs and a massive set of 41-inch super single tires.   Well, a year later, Dynamax decided to do a similar factory option called the Extreme edition, which really piqued our interest, and so we started to seriously consider it as our next RV. As we continued to research them, we discovered their love of “short” Super C’s on the Freightliner chassis, which goes hand in hand with our love of shorter RVs. So, we were heavily considering both the Isata 6 4x4 and one of the shorter Freightliner Europas for this next chapter of our RV lives.   But we were stumped on which one!   So, we are grateful to announce our partnership with Dynamax RV on trying out their brand-new Isata 6 30FW for the next 12 months to really get a feel for this RV and how it will work for our travels and RV lifestyle.   And of course, we’re excited to share this journey with YOU!
Which destinations should we add to our travel plans this year!?
